The lineup for AEW All Out 2025 is starting to take shape, with three matches already announced. However, one of the most prominent wrestlers from All Elite Wrestling will not be at the show. This is Kenny Omega, who last night suffered a brutal attack by Kyle Fletcher, which will keep him off the company's television programming for an indefinite period.

There have been many rumors suggesting that "The Best Bout Machine" was dealing with a lot of pain, something the wrestler himself confirmed, although downplaying its importance. However, the reason for his absence is not related to a health issue, but rather for personal reasons, as reported by the specialized media outlet Fightful.

"A person not planned to appear at AEW All Out is Kenny Omega. This took many by surprise, especially considering the event is taking place in Canada, but Fightful Select has reported that this has been part of a plan for quite some time," the media outlet wrote.

"Sources within AEW confirmed that the reason for the segment to remove Kenny Omega from the programming is that he had planned to take a break around this time of year for months. They said Omega has a trip planned to Japan," the report continued. "It had been reported that he was struggling with pain, something he himself confirmed, but as understood, that has been normal for him for a long time and he is aware that it will likely continue in the future."

"Unless something changes, Omega will not be present at AEW All Out, and the segment with Kyle Fletcher was used to explain his absence on television, while also helping to elevate Fletcher," concluded the report from the specialized media outlet.

This will be the second break Omega takes in recent months. The Canadian was absent from television programming for a month after his participation in AEW All In Texas, where he was defeated by Kazuchika Okada in a title unification match.

Omega returned shortly before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to team up with Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, and Hiroshi Tanahashi to face Death Riders, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd in the main event of the interpromotional show. At the moment, it is unknown how long he will be absent on this occasion.
