Gzim Selmani, internationally known for his time in WWE as Rezar, has confirmed that he will return to action in the world of combat sports after a decade dedicated to professional wrestling.

With the aim of returning to his roots in contact sports, Selmani has set his sights on a boxing match against former World's Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, within an upcoming Misfits Boxing event.

"I am returning to my roots as a fighter and I feel like I have unfinished business in the world of combat sports," Selmani declared on social media. "I have seen Eddie Hall trying to pick a fight with a welterweight and that doesn't seem right to me. If he really wants to prove he's tough, he should face someone who can knock him out... someone like me. This is a message to Eddie Hall: I challenge you to a boxing match on any Misfits card. I have to remind everyone that I am the most dangerous professional wrestler in the world."

From the Authors of Pain to TV stardom

The 31-year-old Dutch-Albanian wrestler had a standout run with the McMahon company by winning the Raw and NXT tag team championships, as well as being the victor of the prestigious Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic alongside his partner Akam as the duo known as Authors of Pain.

Later on, they joined forces with Karrion Kross to form the group The Final Testament, even competing at WrestleMania 40. However, things didn't go well for the group and WWE ultimately decided to release them in a new wave of departures that occurred in February of this year.
