WWE SmackDown starts on Netflix!

We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists: Damian Priest, Aleister Black, Michin, Giulia (accompanied by Kiana James), and CM Punk.

We watch a video recap of WWE Clash in Paris.

John Cena is the one to open tonight's show. "The Greatest of All Time" makes his final entrance of his professional career on SmackDown at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. The fans greet him with a huge ovation. Cena asks for a microphone while enjoying the crowd's reactions. "Cena, Cena!" chant the fans before he can speak. "Thank you Cena!", the stadium chants in unison. John thanks them, especially coming from one of the most demanding fan bases in the country: Chicago.

Cena recalls the start of his retirement tour, and how his friends advised him to enjoy this journey. However, when he returned, he felt he had to give them something special. That's why he wanted to put his heart into it. However, today he just wants to have fun. That's why he hasn't prepared anything for tonight. His only intention is to enjoy every moment with the fans, absorbing each one to keep them in his memory forever. "Cena, Cena!" chants the crowd. John emphasizes how special this city is because its fans are not afraid to express their opinions, no matter what. "AJ Lee, AJ Lee!" chants the crowd. "Oh man. We are ready for an exciting night, right?" Cena responds. A night that marks his last appearance in the city and on the blue brand show.

John recalls how 23 years ago he made his debut in this venue and on this same show. That day marked the beginning of his journey in WWE. In this venue, he has faced Triple H and competed against CM Punk for the WWE Championship. Moments that will go down in history. This city competes to be the best WWE audience. Many try to fight against it, but he simply accepts it. "You allowed me to start here. I am very, very grateful, because you kept me honest, you made sure I gave it my all, you let me experience failure, you let me experience humility...", says John before being interrupted by chants of "Thank you Cena". "...and for the last time, when I needed it the most, you let me experience joy. That's how things are in Chicago", adds the seventeen-time world champion. "I have no more words. I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful career. Enjoy an incredible night!", he exclaims to end his promo. However, before he can leave the ring...

Sami Zayn interrupts the segment!

The new United States Champion heads to the ring, where he asks for a microphone. The fans boo him. Zayn apologizes, making it clear that he did not come to interrupt the seventeen-time world champion. Cena tries to calm the fans, but they continue to boo the Canadian. He just wants to thank John on behalf of the entire locker room for everything he has done for them, but especially for what he did for him. Sami recalls that he made his main roster debut in WWE by answering an open challenge for the United States Championship that John Cena held at the time. Now, he wants to continue that legacy and give an opportunity to all his colleagues by bringing back open challenges. Cena gives him his blessing to use his idea. After that, he tries to leave the ring, but Zayn stops him.

Sami is aware that this is John's last SmackDown, which means it could also be his last chance to face him. An opportunity to repay the favor for what "The Greatest of All Time" did for him a decade ago. That's why he offers him a title shot! However, they don't have to wait months or weeks for it. Zayn proposes to fight in Chicago, here and now! The fans go wild. "Paraphrasing The Greatest of All Time, John Cena: If you want some... COME GET SOME!" exclaims the Canadian. "Do you want to have a match for the United States Championship? Against me? Here? Now?", Cena asks. "Yes, yes, yes!" chant the fans. Meanwhile, Sami extends his hand to John. "What the hell!? You got it!", Cena responds before shaking Zayn's hand. John calls for a referee as we reach the first commercial break of the night.

The General Manager continues on his way. Hayes confronts The Miz for meddling in his affairs, making it clear that he wants a singles title opportunity. Suddenly, The Miz pushes him aside to watch a vehicle arriving at the venue's parking lot. A smiling Becky Lynch steps out of it, heading towards the building.

Aleister Black addresses Damian Priest in a video promo. The Dutchman regrets that WWE remains a "well that is still poisoned," which leads him to his opponent for tonight. Priest will have to face a man who has been carved by hatred in this industry for years. "I need to purify the well. And if that path leads me to my own ruin, so be it. Maybe I can be the king who falls by his own sword. But I will triumph, Damian Priest, because you are who you are. You follow the rules. I am who I am because I follow the rules... until I stop doing it," says Black.

Aleister attacks Damian as he makes his entrance. The Puerto Rican manages to recover to throw several punches. WWE announces the Worlds Collide card.

We watch a promotional video focused on the rivalry between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. "The Viper" doesn't understand how someone who has been in WWE for so many years hasn't learned that he should keep his distance from him. Drew claims not to care what others think. He only speaks the truth, and the truth is that, unlike the Scotsman, Randy is not willing to take the plunge. Orton mocks McIntyre and his ability to get into others' minds to indicate what they are thinking. "Believe me, if you could, you wouldn't want to get into my head to hear what the voices are saying. You have no idea what's coming for you", says Orton. McIntyre points out that the winds of change are coming to WWE, and he is the man the company needs. "I'm going to bring you back to reality when I hit you with the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment: R-K-O", says Randy to end the video.

Cathy Kelley interviews Tiffany Stratton backstage about her title defense against Jade Cargill next week. Tiffany assures that Cargill won't be able to defeat her. In fact, once she beats her, her speech about being the best, the greatest talent, or the "storm" will finally end. "This time Jade Cargill won't have to worry about my foot being on those ropes because my foot will be embedded... let's say... in the eye of the storm", says the WWE Women's Champion with a mocking smile before leaving.

We see Jade Cargill reacting to the interview on a backstage screen. Nia Jax approaches her. "The Irresistible Force" mocks Cargill, pointing out that Tiffany already defeated her at SummerSlam. Jade reminds Nia that she beat her. Nia makes it clear that she doesn't deserve this title opportunity and that she only managed to defeat her thanks to Becky Lynch. Cargill confronts Nia, challenging her to come after her once she takes the championship from Tiffany Stratton. Until then, she suggests that Nia stay out of her way. "We'll see about that," says Nia before leaving the scene. "You can bet on it," whispers Cargill as the segment comes to an end.

We see Becky Lynch sitting comfortably on a couch while looking at her smartphone. Nick Aldis approaches her. The Irishwoman greets him effusively. The General Manager doesn't understand what he's doing there, but hopes he won't cause any trouble tonight, especially knowing that CM Punk will be there. "The Man" assures him that she has no intention of causing any trouble. In fact, she will give him his space - as it seems he needs it - before leaving the room. Lynch picks up her Intercontinental Championship to leave the room.

We see Coby White, player for the Chicago Bulls, in the front row.

Bliss sets Lilly down on the stretcher and checks her partner, though she seems to struggle hearing her heartbeat. "I have one. It's there," says Flair, referring to her heart. "If you say so," Alexa replies. Charlotte needs a real doctor to medically clear her, as they must get revenge on Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. Alexa assures her they will, but right now "The Queen" needs to rest and recover. Flair complains. "The power of friendship will heal your pain," says Bliss before leaving. Charlotte picks up Lilly in her hand. "So what now? I'm not cleared?" asks Flair as the segment comes to a close.

Burn It Down!

Seth Rollins appears in the crowd. "The Visionary" addresses the fans, promising that tonight they will witness a historic moment, as the legend of Chicago, CM Punk, will die right here. "CM Punk, CM Punk!" chant the fans. Seth encourages them to chant his name, as it will be the last time. He then officially introduces his wife, Becky Lynch, who walks out onto the entrance ramp.

The Irishwoman makes her way to the ring while her husband applauds from the stands. Lynch poses with the Intercontinental Championship. Seth blows kisses at his wife. Meanwhile, fans chant "AJ Lee." Becky scolds them for chanting another woman’s name while she’s in the ring. Lynch reminds them that she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time. And it’s not just her saying it — it’s The Sports Illustrated. Even the Chicago Tribute says it. The crowd keeps booing her. But Becky isn’t surprised — it’s Chicago, after all. All their teams suck, just like their crowd, and of course, CM Punk.

CM Punk makes his entrance!

The fans welcome "The Best in the World" with a huge ovation. Rollins watches from the crowd. CM Punk heads toward the ring, greeting some fans along the way. Punk offers her one last chance to stay out of this.

Becky mocks CM Punk, asking how his face is after the beating she gave him last Monday. The crowd chants AJ Lee’s name. Becky tells them to shut up. "No, no, no. You’re going to let them chant AJ Lee’s name. If it bothers you that much, maybe you shouldn’t have gotten involved in my business," says CM Punk. He points out that many of his friends and family are here tonight. Lynch mocks them too, saying she could kick all their asses. CM Punk says he could call some of his friends to deal with her — friends like Bayley or Rhea Ripley. Fed up, Lynch slaps CM Punk. "The Man" keeps hitting him, daring him to call those friends. CM Punk walks away toward the ramp. "Becky, this is exactly the situation I wanted to avoid, because everyone knows I’d never lay a hand on a lady. Fortunately, I know someone who will," says CM Punk. The crowd erupts in anticipation.

AJ LEE makes her entrance!

The fans greet her with a massive ovation. Lee heads to the ring with her signature skipping step. Lynch stares in shock. AJ circles the ring before stopping at the apron. She places her hands on the edge to stare at the Irishwoman. AJ takes her time climbing the apron. Once inside the ring, she stops near the ropes. Tired, Becky tries to strike her, but it's Lee who takes her down.

AJ strikes the Irishwoman again and again. Becky tries to escape, but Lee grabs her by the hair. AJ takes her down again with a Lou Thesz press. AJ slaps Lynch, who escapes to ringside. The Irishwoman runs into CM Punk, who steps into the ring. Meanwhile, Rollins jumps the barricade to help his wife. CM Punk and AJ Lee stare at each other. Lee jumps into CM Punk's arms. They embrace as Seth and Becky retreat angrily backstage. CM Punk and AJ Lee continue celebrating with the fans as this week’s show comes to an end.
