The wrestling industry is experiencing a historic moment following the acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA by WWE. The union between the world's most powerful company and the Mexican promoter promises to completely change the local landscape. A report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed the first details of how the AAA creative team will be structured in this new era.

According to information published by Dave Meltzer, the organizational chart places Paul "Triple H" Levesque at the top of the creative structure. The WWE's chief creative officer will be in charge of guiding AAA's direction, but he won't be alone: he will have a group of collaborators blending American vision with Mexican tradition, seeking a balance that respects the essence of classic wrestling while also driving the product towards a global market.

The creative core will be formed by heavyweight names in the industry: Jeremy Borash, known for his experience in television production; Mark Calaway, the immortal legend known as The Undertaker; Charles Ashenoff (Konnan), a key figure in understanding the history and evolution of wrestling in Mexico; and Dorian Roldán, a representative of the founding family of AAA. They will all work hand in hand in crafting the stories that will define this new era.

The producers' section will also be reinforced with veterans who are well-versed in both WWE's style and Mexican wrestling. Among them are Matt Bloom, the current head of the Performance Center in Orlando; Pete Dunne, still active in the ring but with a growing role behind the scenes; Chavo Guerrero Jr., heir to one of the most legendary wrestling dynasties; Jack Melendez (Moody Jack), an experienced creative director in Latin America; Juan Rivera (Savio Vega), a historic figure from Puerto Rico; and Jose Cordero (Lince Dorado). Another producer will join this group, but their name has not yet been disclosed.

Meltzer also clarified that Shawn Michaels, despite sharing ideas with Triple H regarding AAA's future, will continue to focus on his role as the creative director of NXT. His involvement will be occasional, but it shows WWE's intention to integrate veterans with experience in developing young talent and creating solid storylines.

The acquisition of AAA by WWE was announced in April and officially finalized last month. Since then, the anticipation has been growing in Mexico and around the world. For many, this alliance represents a recognition of the legacy of Mexican wrestling and a unique opportunity to showcase its stars on an unprecedented global stage.

The next major step will be WWE–AAA Worlds Collide, scheduled for Friday, September 12 in Las Vegas. The event will be headlined by the match where Dominik Mysterio will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Megachampionship. In the last few hours, the company has revealed the complete card for WWE Worlds Collide.
