Lucha Libre AAA held a new Nuevas Alianzas show last night at the Showcenter Complex in San Pedro, Nuevo León, Mexico, where the stories leading up to Worlds Collide continued.
One of the key moments of the night was when El Grande Americano appeared to the delight of the fans. The WWE masked wrestler started singing in Spanish when he was interrupted by the AAA megachampion, El Hijo del Vikingo. The champion was quickly interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who surprised everyone by appearing on the big screen to send a message.
The WWE star, and current Intercontinental champion of the company, assured that it would be the last time they would see El Hijo del Vikingo with the title. He reminded everyone that he will do what his father never did, achieve the AAA Megachampionship, and confidently stated that he will leave as a double champion of Worlds Collide so they can finally call him the "King of the wrestlers."
WWE Worlds Collide will take place next Friday before the airing of Friday Night SmackDown. The show can be watched for free through WWE's official channels on Youtube. Below you can read the confirmed lineup.
