In just two weeks, Wrestlepalooza will take place, the PLE of WWE that will mark the beginning of a new era on ESPN. The company has confirmed part of the show's lineup, which will feature several headline matches, as well as the return to action of AJ Lee after more than a decade since her last fight.

John Cena will also not miss the show. "The Greatest of All Time" will compete in one of the last matches of his career against Brock Lesnar in what promises to be one of the biggest attractions of the event. However, he won't be the only babyface to appear at the event. Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, will also be present, as confirmed by Triple H in a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

"I'm going to give you a spoiler right now: Cody will return to Indianapolis for Wrestlepalooza", said the WWE Content Chief.

It is worth noting that Rhodes is currently off the company's television programming due to his participation in the filming of the new "Street Fighter" movie, in which he plays Guile. In kayfabe, the champion does not have medical clearance to compete after Drew McIntyre hit him with a Claymore against the announcers' table just a month ago.

It is unknown whether Rhodes will have finished filming his scenes by September 20, the date of Wrestlepalooza, or if it will be a simple appearance to continue his story with McIntyre - in addition to being present at WWE's debut on ESPN - before returning to the set to continue filming the movie. In any case, his appearance is expected to confirm his next match against "The Scottish Psychopath."
