Je'Von Evans bursts onto the scene, demanding the presence of Josh Briggs. The latter quickly appears on the entrance ramp. Josh advances towards the ring, at which point Evans launches himself at him with a beautifully executed tope. Je'Von and Josh start a brawl. Ava, who had followed Briggs, shouts at both men, ordering them to get into the ring. Je'Von takes Josh inside the ring, where the referee immediately rings the bell.

We move to Ava's office, who acts as a mediator in a discussion between Oba Femi and Ricky Saints. Both men blame each other for what happened last week. Saints believes they shouldn't wait until No Mercy, suggesting to the General Manager to advance their match to tonight. Ava, however, informs them that she didn't call them for this. Ava is aware that they have a lot to talk about, so she schedules them for next week at NXT Homecoming, where they will participate in a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect. "Fantastic. Another arrogant loudmouth," says Femi. Trick Williams appears on the scene. "Here comes another one," says "The Ruler." The TNA World Champion decides to ignore the Nigerian's comment to address Ava, asking if everything is going according to plan before meeting #DIY tonight. The General Manager assures him that everything is ready. Ricky asks what all this is about. "Hey, buddy. This is a matter of championships. You wouldn't understand," Trick replies before turning to Femi. "And Oba, just so you know. We're not done yet," says Williams before leaving.

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano make their way to the ring. Ciampa recalls that today marks exactly 10 years since #DIY's official debut in NXT. Gargano assures that this will always be his home. Tommaso points out that after their last match in NXT, he wished from the bottom of his heart that the fight wasn't really the end. And that's what brings them to their appearance tonight.

Trick Williams interrupts the segment!

Trick acknowledges that last week Gargano and Ciampa surprised him with a two-on-one assault. And that happened because the former WWE Tag Team Champions envy him. Envy that the generation of Gargano and Ciampa is not at the level of the generation that Trick leads in the current NXT. Johnny suggests he enter the ring to remind him with another Meet on the Middle what #DIY brought to this brand in the past. Williams stops on the apron. "I will, I will. But this time, I'm not alone," says Trick.

Carmelo Hayes appears on the scene!

The fans welcome him with a great ovation. Hayes enters the ring to confront Gargano and Ciampa. "¡Melo, Melo!" chant the fans. Carmelo turns to face Trick. The audience asks them to hug it out to make amends. Hayes addresses his former partner to point out that he has spoken many truths, but also many lies since he left. Trick said that NXT is his home, but he had the audacity to do it in front of two of the men who built it. Williams claimed he is renewing this brand, but all Carmelo sees is a man who is occupying it illegally. "And I've come here to remind you that it's time to pay the rent," adds "HIM". Williams tries to interrupt him, but Carmelo doesn't allow it. Hayes hopes that the next time Trick meets NXT legends, he shows them the respect they deserve. Tommaso and Johnny enjoy the scene.

Trick acknowledges that he has a complicated history with Hayes, and that he has said many things about him, some negative, and that's not right. But that won't stop him from doing what he wants, because NXT is still his home. Tommaso interrupts to ask which of them is the other's "big brother." "Shut up, okay? This is between my brother and me," says Carmelo to Ciampa before reminding him that he and Gargano have no right to comment on it, as they have been involved in some of the biggest betrayals in NXT history. "Let's talk about it," says Williams. "No. No. No," interrupts Johnny. "We're not going to talk about it, okay? Yes, there's a lot of history here, but you know what people want to see? They want to see two generations of NXT in the biggest tag team match in NXT history. What do you think? Trick Melo Gang against #DIY!", exclaims Gargano to issue a challenge. The musical theme of #DIY starts playing in the venue. The four men observe each other in the center of the ring as the segment comes to an end.

Natalya is in the front row to witness the next match.

WWE Women's Speed Tournament - First Round
Faby Apache vs. Lainey Reid

Faby Apache surprises Lainey with a dropkick. Apache continues her offense with a scissors kick that expels her rival from the ring. Next, Faby jumps with an apron cannonball. Apache takes her rival back into the ring, but Reid surprises her with a kick. Lainey and Faby exchange roll-ups. Apache grabs her opponent by the hair to throw her to the mat.

Suddenly, the former Reina de Reinas champion notices the presence of Natalya, who has left her seat in the stands to approach ringside. Apache jumps on Lainey with a Swanton Bomb, but her rival - now recovered - dodges it. The Mexican impacts fully on the mat. Reid quickly counterattacks with a running knee strike. 1..2..3.

Winner: Lainey Reid (2:38)

Sol Ruca and Zaria converse backstage. Zaria jokes with her partner, asking her where she will place the championship belt they will both win at NXT Homecoming. Sol hints that she could wear all three like a suit. Joking aside, the Australian makes it clear that it is imperative that they win tonight. "I need to be at Homecoming and become the champion," says Zaria. Sol promises her that it will happen. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger approach them. Both teams wish each other luck in their respective matches tonight. Sol thanks them, pointing out that they will have to set the pace and they will follow them. Tank promises that tonight they will surprise DarkState again with their secret weapon. Zaria notes that the atmosphere smells like victory. Hank and Tank head to the ring, ready to regain their tag team titles.

We see a promotional video starring Blake Monroe. From his bathtub, Monroe assures that his story with Jordynne Grace is not over. What happened last week is a tragedy. And it's because, since Grace made him bleed, he has felt dirty. "The Glamour" had set out to triumph in NXT as a clean, perfect, and untouchable woman, but it won't be like that. "The truth is that The Glamour never intended to be clean. The Glamour is cruel and ruthless. The Glamour can bleed, and still be the star of the show," says the Brit. "Last week you reminded me that The Glamour and Hell never intended to be separate. You made me feel something. Something I had buried deep inside me. I thought those days were over. I guess I just got better at combining accessories. You didn't humiliate me. You didn't break me. You woke me up. Now The Glamour has teeth and is hungry. I'm going to show you why Blake Monroe can even make the Demon blush. See you in Hell, JG.".

Hank hits a spinning neckbreaker on Lennox. 1..2..NO. Walker takes his opponent to the top of the turnbuckle. Hank delivers a superplex on Lennox, followed by Tank with a Swanton Bomb. 1..2..NO.

Hank and Tank get ready to crush Dion in the center of the ring. Suddenly, Cutler and Saquon decide to interfere. Shugars distracts the referee from the apron while James pulls Hank out of the ring. Cutler grabs Walker by the neck. "Joe Hendry won't save you tonight!" yells the DarkState member.

Say his name and he’s appear!

Joe Hendry bursts onto the scene, smashing through a wall!

Surprised, Cutler flees into the ring. Hendry runs after him, but is quickly stopped by the referee. As the official tells the Scotsman to leave the ring, Hank surprises Dion with a roll-up. Osiris appears out of nowhere to hit Walker, turning the tide so Lennox can pin the challenger. The referee drops to the mat for the count. 1..2..3.

Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: DarkState

We see a short promotional video for the upcoming Flag Match. Tavion Heights says he’s tired of Ethan Page’s lack of respect. That’s why he promises that tonight “All Ego” will be lying on the mat, staring up at the stars and stripes of the American flag. Page, on the other hand, believes it’s time to remind arrogant Americans like Heights of the true Canadian standard of excellence. Tonight, the Canadian flag will fly high, carried by the best representative of the country.

NXT Anonymous posts a video on X. In it, we see Ethan Page talking to Myles Borne. “All Ego” advises him to act like a real champion if he wants to become one. And to do that, he must think only of himself. Page shows Myles the footage of his Blindfold Match against Lexis King. "Will you let this go on any longer?" the Canadian asks before leaving.

We move to the men's locker room, where Lexis King has just seen the previous video. King doesn’t understand how NXT Anonymous can be everywhere, though he admits Ethan Page gave good advice to Myles Borne. Too bad Borne usually doesn’t listen to anyone’s advice — not even that of his former mentor Charlie Dempsey, who is also in the room. “Myles no longer has the privilege of my advice,” Dempsey says. King recalls that he beat Borne in a Blindfold Match. It was such a humiliation for Myles that he doubts Borne will show his face around here again. Borne suddenly storms in with a steel chair. “Did you think we were done?” Myles asks before turning off the lights. We hear the sound of multiple chair shots and Lexis groaning. Someone turns the lights back on. We see Borne standing over Lexis, who is lying on the ground. "I'm not done with you yet!" Myles shouts before leaving.

Both men fall to ringside, with Page landing dangerously on his head.

The action returns to the ring. Heights knocks Ethan down and climbs the turnbuckle. Page follows and throws him down, hitting a codebreaker in the fall. Tavion goes back for his flag. Ethan follows. “All Ego” grabs him by the hair and slams him onto the mat. Both men are laid out. Heights and Page trade blows. Ethan kicks Tavion, who answers with a flying clothesline. Both are down again.

Heights touches the flagpole with his fingertips. “All Ego” climbs to the apron to push Tavion down, sending him to the floor. Page goes for his flag. Now it’s Tavion who chases him. Heights makes him fall onto the turnbuckle, causing the Canadian to hit his groin. After that, he hits a superplex. With no one left to stop him, Tavion climbs and finally retrieves the American flag.

Winner: Tavion Heights

Tavion waves his flag to celebrate the victory. He then decides to take down the Canadian flag and drapes it over his opponent's body. Suddenly, a very familiar theme song plays for NXT fans...

Tyler Breeze appears!

Breeze crouches next to Tavion to take a selfie. And with that, this segment comes to an end.

We see the second part of the promotional video featuring Lola Vice. This time, we meet her father, who runs a Taekwondo school. After reuniting, he gives her a dobok and invites her to join the training. Lola recalls that everyone in her family has practiced and mastered this martial art. Natalie Loureda, Lola's sister, expresses her gratitude for having had her as a Taekwondo partner and for witnessing all her viral moments — including her victories and dances. Lola makes it clear that her dances aren’t meant to disrespect her opponents, but are simply a part of who she is. That’s how she was during her MMA days — a time when others underestimated her for being girly and pretty, until she shut them up with a KO. Now she’s ready for NXT No Mercy. Lola will fight not just for her family and culture, but for everyone who has ever been underestimated. At NXT No Mercy, she has the chance to win the NXT Women’s Championship near the place she grew up — a place she knows how to win better than anyone else: Vice City.

Fatal Influence watches Lola Vice’s video backstage. Jacy Jayne mocks her opponent, saying she’ll lose in front of her entire family. She then asks Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx if they’re ready for tonight. Her teammates say yes. Jacy is confident they’ll earn a title shot tonight and next week they’ll take the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles from Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. That way, the entire faction will be dripping in gold. Jayne admits that five months ago, no one would have imagined they’d have those titles — or that she would become the greatest NXT Champion in history. Once ready, the three women head to the ring.

We see a promotional video for NXT Homecoming, where several NXT alumni are expected to return, along with surprises yet to be revealed.

Jacy and Nyx throw the Aussie into the steel steps. Fatal Influence team up on Dame and Sol. Nyx hits a Fisherman’s Suplex Hold on Ruca. 1...2...NO.

Sol climbs one of the turnbuckles. Nyx goes after her. Izzi approaches and lifts Jazmyn onto her shoulders. Sol takes advantage to hit a neckbreaker. Nyx takes the brunt of the impact. Zaria enters full speed, taking on both Tatum and Nyx at once. The Aussie takes down Paxley. 1..2..NO. Izzi breaks the count. ZaRuca deliver simultaneous spears to The Culling. Winners: The Culling

Furious, Jacy Jayne scolds her teammates in the middle of the ring, reminding them this is her division and they’ve just embarrassed her. Suddenly, we see several cars arriving at the venue just before the final commercial break of the night.

Back from break, Jacy is still shouting in the ring. Jayne directly blames her teammates for Fatal Influence not being part of the NXT Homecoming card. She yells at the fans, making it clear she doesn’t need anyone to succeed — no teammates, no crowd. She only needs one person: herself. Suddenly...

STEPHANIE VAQUER appears!

"La Primera" addresses Jacy, acknowledging her for beating her for the NXT Championship. However, she reminds her that she held both singles titles in NXT — all by herself. Now, she’s ready to become champion again at Wrestlepalooza. "Stephanie, it’s good to see you. But the way I see it, there are three of us... and you’re all alone. And you know how this works," says the NXT Champion in a threatening tone. "Shut up! I have a question for you. Do you know what time it is?" asks the Chilean.

It's Tiffy Time!

Tiffany Stratton appears. The WWE Women’s Champion raises her title while enjoying a warm welcome from the Performance Center crowd. Stratton reminds everyone that she also held the NXT Women’s Championship and that she’s already beaten Jacy, so she doubts Jacy is the greatest NXT Champion of all time, as she claims. "Okay, okay. I know what’s going on. You two are like those super seniors who already graduated but want to come back to high school to feel cool again. It’s kinda sad," says Jacy. "I don’t know how 'Mami' is gonna take being called a super senior," replies Stratton.

THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!

Rhea Ripley joins Stephanie and Tiffany. "Mami! Mami!" chant the fans as Fatal Influence look genuinely concerned. "The greatest NXT Champion of all time? I don’t think so, Jacy," says the Aussie, laughing. "And if you’re so eager to go to Homecoming, that’s perfect. There’s three of you. And there’s three of us. So we’ll see you at Full Sail," says Rhea before dropping the mic. "Time out, time out!" screams Jayne.

The three WWE Superstars rush the ring. Fatal Influence are quickly thrown out. Rhea’s theme hits the arena. Jacy, Fallon, and Jazmyn beg for mercy on the ramp as their future opponents stand tall in the ring. And that’s how this week’s episode comes to an end.
