WWE Hall of Fame member Mike Rotunda will soon be publishing his memoirs, a book co-written with renowned author Ian Douglass. Douglass himself announced the project this week, confirming that the writing process has already been completed and that the release will occur once they define the publication plans.

Rotunda, a standout collegiate wrestler at Syracuse University, had a lengthy career under different names. In WCW, he had brief stints as Michael Wallstreet and VK Wallstreet, while in the WWF of the 1980s, he teamed up with Barry Windham as The U.S. Express, with whom he won several tag team titles and participated in the first WrestleMania.

In NWA, he had a long tenure as World Television Champion and a member of The Varsity Club alongside Rick Steiner, Kevin Sullivan, and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, with whom he also won the world tag team titles.

In WWE, Mike Rotunda's most remembered period came under the character of Irwin R. Shyster (IRS), a corrupt taxman with whom he became one of the most recognizable figures of the 1990s. In addition to his three reigns as tag team champion with Ted DiBiase as part of Money Inc., he engaged in notable rivalries against superstars like The Undertaker, Razor Ramon, and The Steiner Brothers. His tax collector gimmick became one of the most iconic of the New Generation Era, solidifying his place in the memories of fans from that era.

Rotunda is also known for being the father of WWE stars Windham "Bray Wyatt" Rotunda and Taylor "Bo Dallas" Rotunda. Unfortunately, he suffered the loss of his son Windham in 2023.

In 2024, during WrestleMania 40 weekend in Philadelphia, Rotunda and Barry Windham were inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of The U.S. Express, a recognition of one of the most emblematic stages of their careers.
