Last weekend, during the celebration of the AAA Alianzas show, Octagón Jr. suffered an injury that left fans worried at the emblematic Showcenter Complex in San Pedro, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Pagano and Psycho Clown retained the AAA Wrestling Tag Team Championship in a triple threat match involving WWE superstars Angel and Berto, and the duo formed by Laredo Kidd and Octagón Jr. After the match, Octagón Jr. remained lying on the ground and, after a quick evaluation, the referee decided to signal the "X", which is usually done when a wrestler suffers a real injury.

According to reports, Octagón Jr. is in good condition despite the dramatic incident and will be ready this Friday to be part of the WWE Worlds Collide event, where he will team up with La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, and Niño Hamburguesa to face Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.

There was a lot of concern about Octagón Jr.'s condition not only for his participation in Worlds Collide, but also because of the good moment the wrestler was going through after WWE acquired Lucha Libre AAA in April.

In recent months, Octagón Jr. had taken a step onto the international stage, debuting in WWE during the Worlds Collide event in June and facing Dominik Mysterio the following night at Money in the Bank. Now, his immediate future in the ring is uncertain as we await an official update on his health status.
