The story between Ricochet and The Hurt Syndicate has been escalating for months, ever since the faction rejected Ricochet. Following these events, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin managed to become World Tag Team Champions, but months later, Ricochet himself, in alliance with Gates of Agony, took it upon himself to ruin and put an end to their reign. Now, the cycle of revenge will come full circle, as tonight on Dynamite it was confirmed that they will face off at All Out.
During an interview tonight with Renee Paquette, Ricochet didn't wait for questions and delivered a direct message to The Hurt Syndicate. The wrestler called them cowards, but proposed a "gentleman's agreement": tonight, a one-on-one match with no one at ringside. Shelton Benjamin accepted the challenge, and faced Ricochet in a frenetic encounter.
The battle between them was a high-intensity duel. Shelton showcased his power with strong strikes and Suplexes, while Ricochet responded with his agility, punishing his opponent with kicks and high-flying moves. However, the "gentleman's agreement" was broken when Gates of Agony interfered, distracting Shelton and allowing Ricochet to cover him for the victory.
After the match, The Hurt Syndicate's fury unleashed in a brutal attack on Ricochet and Gates of Agony. The action culminated with Shelton Benjamin punishing Ricochet with a tremendous kick. With the rivalry far from over, it was confirmed that the final showdown will be at All Out, where MVP will have his second match in AEW.
