WWE x AAA Worlds Collide has undergone a small change in its lineup for this Friday in Las Vegas. The company has confirmed that Laredo Kid will join the show, replacing La Parka in the scheduled eight-wrestler match.
As WWE.com reported, Laredo Kid will team up with Niño Hamburguesa, Octagón Jr., and Mascarita Sagrada to face off against Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro. The announcement comes after the confusion caused by the inclusion of the original La Parka's image in the promotional graphic of the match.
The wrestler himself reacted on social media, making it clear that he would not be at the event and that he preferred to stay in Mexico rather than fight for "a big company" in the United States. Finally, WWE and AAA confirmed the modification in the lineup.
L.A. Park is known as "The original La Parka," and is the version that notably wrestled for WCW in the mid to late 90s. Triple H AAA went ahead and introduced a second La Parka, who wrestled under that name until he suffered a serious injury in 2019 that led to his death several months later.
