The Undertaker does not usually point to other wrestlers as successors to his legacy. However, when asked who had come closest to capturing that dark magic that defined his career, the "Phenom" does not hesitate: Bray Wyatt.

The Deadman recently spoke on the Nightcap show, a program in which Triple H and Shawn Michaels also appeared to promote the announcement of WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia, where he reflected on the emerging talent in the industry. Although he assured that he sees potential in the new generations, he acknowledged that few have managed to build an identity with the same level of mysticism that accompanied him during three decades in WWE.

In that context, he emphasized that Wyatt was the only one in recent years to reach that special category. "Yes, we lost him, but he was in that 'Undertaker-esque' territory. No one else has really reached there yet," he pointed out.

I don't think anyone else has honed in that direction yet, although there are many young talents who will soon debut thanks to the push of the machine.

The memory is even more emotional after Wyatt's sudden death in August 2023 at the age of 36. Undertaker was one of the most affected figures by the news and had previously shown admiration for his work. He described him as a creative genius, capable of reinventing himself and fully committing to every idea he presented on television.

In several previous interviews, The Undertaker had already declared himself an "absolute fan" of Wyatt, highlighting that he always looked forward to his segments in WWE. That professional and personal bond today reinforces the magnitude of his words.
