WWE has confirmed a high-caliber Monday Night RAW for September 15th, loaded with stellar appearances and key matchups leading up to Wrestlepalooza. The event will take place at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts and will air one hour earlier than usual.
Adam Pearce has confirmed a new match for the show. Penta and Kofi Kingston will face off in a singles match. The masked wrestler already faced Kingston at the end of August and lost. Additionally, as previously confirmed, Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez will square off after several weeks of tension.
With just a few weeks until Wrestlepalooza, all signs point to this being a key moment in the narrative leading to the big event. It's worth noting that John Cena will be live in front of the fans, in what could be one of the final stretches of his WWE career. His presence immediately raises the excitement surrounding the show.
The company has also announced a face-to-face segment that promises to be historic: CM Punk and AJ Lee will share the ring with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. The reunion of these two pairs comes after AJ Lee's return two weeks ago on SmackDown and the confrontation that took place last week on Raw.
