WWE celebrates tonight a new episode of Monday Night Raw, this time number 1,686, from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show will be broadcast live via Netflix and Solowrestling will bring you the results in this article as every week.
This will be the last Red Brand show before WWE Wrestlepalooza and will feature several interesting matches and segments, including a new appearance by John Cena. Also, CM Punk and AJ Lee will have one final face‑off with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch before their match at next Saturday’s PPV. As always, we invite you to comment in the article to give your opinion on what happens in the show.
WWE Raw begins on Netflix!
We see some of tonight’s protagonists arriving at the venue: Penta, Stephanie Vaquer, El Grande Americano and the full Vision.
The production team shows a recap video of what happened last week between The Usos and The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed), in which LA Knight was also involved.
We see The Usos arriving at the venue. An irate LA Knight approaches them to push Jey. “I thought we were at peace! Are we?”, asks "The Megastar". Meanwhile, Jimmy tries to keep both apart to prevent a fight. Adam Pearce appears on the scene with a pair of officials to restore order. Furious, the General Manager orders LA Knight and Jey Uso to come to his office right now. LA Knight doesn’t seem willing to do so. “If you don’t want to talk to me, you’ll have to talk to your bankers. They will tell you why there are missing zeroes in your paychecks!”, Pearce exclaims before leaving. “We are not at peace”, says LA Knight to Jey before heading toward Adam’s office. Jey doesn’t take long to follow him, leaving his brother behind.
John Cena is in charge of opening tonight’s show. The fans greet him with a great ovation. “Cena, Cena, Cena!”, the crowd chants. John asks Alicia Taylor to introduce him properly in his last appearance in Springfield. After that, the seventeen‑time world champion takes the floor. John addresses the younger fans in the crowd to tell them something they perhaps do not know: he spent part of his youth playing American football at the University of Springfield. Cena played on the offensive line, so he never appeared in the newspapers. He just got his butt kicked week after week. “The University of Springfield prepared me for life in WWE”, says John before noting that friends and family have come to see him tonight… except for one niece, since she is celebrating her birthday. John congratulates her and promises he will see her this weekend.
John thanks Taylor for her introduction. Cena is aware that this introduction was born with an intention and for a character he has now discarded. However, he still uses it because it has evolved into something more: an opportunity for the fans to transmit all their energy and thus share one last moment with him. Also, this energy will be very useful for the mountain he must climb this weekend. A mountain called Brock Lesnar.
John acknowledges that “The Best Incarnate” is almost unbeatable. “Fuck you Lesnar!”, shout the fans. Cena recalls that Brock returned to WWE — as he has done so many times — to attack him and challenge him to a match. A challenge he quickly accepted. The question is: why didn’t he say “no”? If he had, he might have stayed healthy. Maybe he could have used his backstage influence to avoid this match, and the only person who’d be upset by that would be Lesnar. “Saying ‘no’ is safe. Saying ‘no’ is easy”, John says. “Thank you Cena!”, the fans chant before “The Greatest of All Time” can continue. “This is the reason I said ‘yes,’ because I am the Last Real Champion. And in all my days here, I have never fought a battle backstage! I have fought them all here, in front of the most important audience in the world, like the fans who are here tonight!”, he adds.
Being the “Last Real Champion” does not mean being the face of the company or winning titles. It means leaving WWE better than you found it. The “Last Real Champion” must give everything he has and work magic. “Am I afraid of Brock Lesnar? Yes, I am. Could I fail? Yes, I might. Will I back down? OF COURSE NOT. Let’s take the fight to ‘The Beast,’ because that’s what we do!”, John exclaims. The fans go wild “Listen to the energy, Brock! This Saturday at Wrestlepalooza, in a broadcast that will make history as the first event on ESPN, ‘The Beast’ will face ‘The Last Real Champion’. It will be the final showdown between two generational titans. Brock, I don’t give a damn how many suplexes there are in your town. I founded Suplex City taking your best shots for over twenty years, and I’m still standing, just like that guy’s sign says (Cena’s shorts > Brock’s pants). This Saturday I’m ready for war. And you want some? Come get some!”, Cena exclaims to bring his promo to an end. The seventeen‑time world champion celebrates with the fans while the segment comes to its close.
Adam Pearce converses with LA Knight and Jey Uso in the General Manager’s office. The Raw General Manager doesn’t believe they should fight among themselves when both are at odds with The Vision. And more considering that The Usos will face the heels at Wrestlepalooza. LA Knight makes it clear that he doesn’t care about the PPV. What he cares about is that Jey laid hands on him. The Samoan responds that his attack was vengeance. The two men continue arguing. Pearce makes peace again, reminding them that we are just days away from one of the most important events of the year. That’s why he asks what he must do so they do not sow chaos tonight. LA Knight applauds Jey, congratulating him on having a match at Wrestlepalooza against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. But that’s exactly what he also wants. Pearce grants his wish: tonight he may face Reed and Breakker in a tag team match. Adam suggests he find a partner, or he will choose one for him. LA Knight smiles, indicating he knows the right person: Jimmy Uso. Jey refuses, reminding him that it is his brother. “YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. I don’t care that he’s your brother”, responds LA Knight. “If you want peace, you’ll schedule it for tonight”, he says to Pearce before leaving. Not satisfied with the situation, Jey notes that he’ll have to talk to Jimmy about this.
Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez)
Both women grapple before locking up. The action continues with a phase of holds, blocks, and roll‑ups. Perez delivers a knee to Valkyria’s stomach. The Irishwoman responds with a *dropkick*, followed by a *crossbody*. 1..2..NO. Lyra gains momentum on the ropes, a moment Raquel takes advantage of to grab her legs and make her fall face‑first onto the mat.
The referee (Jessika Carr) notices what happened and decides to eject Rodriguez from ringside. The Texan climbs the apron to argue with the official. Perez takes advantage of Lyra’s distraction to surprise her with a roll‑up, but the referee is still arguing with her colleague. She gestures toward Roxanne so that Carr realizes what’s happening. The official launches herself onto the mat to make the three count. 1..2..NO. Raquel leaves the apron to return backstage.
The fight continues, with Valkyria ejecting Roxanne from the ring before launching herself at her with a *rope dropkick*. The Irishwoman takes her opponent back into the ring. Lyra climbs the turnbuckle. Once recovered, Roxy approaches her to grab a leg and make her fall onto the mat. Lyra hits her head on the turnbuckle during the fall. Roxanne takes control to punish Valkyria.
Perez shoves her rival into the ropes before delivering a *running european uppercut* directly to her opponent’s neck. After that, she finishes her with a *springboard moonsault* directly onto her back. 1..2..NO. Lyra frees herself from Roxanne’s pressure with a *body drop*. Valkyria continues with a combo of attacks that culminates with a *Fisherman’s Suplex*. Lyra tries to repeat the move, but her hurt back doesn’t allow her. Roxy escapes from the Irishwoman to regain control.
Lyra surprises her opponent to apply a *sit‑out powerbomb*. 1..2..NO. Valkyria climbs again onto one of the turnbuckles. Roxanne rolls toward the apron to frustrate the Irishwoman’s plans. The action moves to the top turnbuckle. Perez executes a *hurricanrana* on Lyra, who falls onto the mat. Roxy continues with a *Satomura Special*. After that, she traps Valkyria in a *crossface*. Lyra manages to reverse the hold to execute the *Nightwing*. 1..2..3.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria
Lyra walks up the entrance ramp, only to be attacked by Raquel Rodriguez! The Texan drags her victim back into the ring, where Perez applies a *Pop Rox* on her. Rodriguez is about to continue attacking her, but…
Bayley storms the scene!
“The Role Model” runs toward the ring to confront the heels. Bayley takes Roxanne down with a *side suplex* before being surprised by Raquel, who tries to apply a *suplex* on her. However, Bayley reverses it into a *Stunner*. Rodriguez charges at Bayley, but she dodges, causing the Texan to hit the post. With Rodriguez out of action, Bayley turns her attention to Perez, whom she applies a *Bayley‑to‑belly*. “Bayley, Bayley!”, the fans chant. Bayley approaches Lyra with a threatening look. Valkyria looks scared. Suddenly, “The Role Model” brings her hands to her head, as if feeling some pain. Once calm, her expression changes radically. Smiling and lively, Bayley runs toward ringside (ignoring Valkyria) to hug Joe Tessitore at the commentary table. Bayley also hugs Corey Graves, Alicia Taylor, Jessika Carr, a WWE crew member and several front‑row fans. After that, she runs back backstage.
We move to Adam Pearce’s office, where the General Manager makes the Women’s World Championship match at Wrestlepalooza official after IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer have signed the fight contract. “Iyo‑san, I respect you. May the best woman win”, says “The Dark Angel”. “Stephanie, I respect you too, but I will win”, responds “The Genius of Sky” before extending her hand toward the Chilean. The latter does not hesitate to shake it.
The Kabuki Warriors storm the scene, with Asuka forcing both women to separate. SKY tries to intervene, but Asuka does not allow it. “Nobody is ready for IYO”, says “The Empress of Tomorrow”. “Asuka, get out of my sight!”, Vaquer exclaims in a threatening tone. “Oh, you think you’re so good? Tonight, you will face… KAIRI SANE”, says Asuka. “Me?”, asks a surprised Sane. Asuka nods. “Very well”, says Kairi while rubbing her face. Stephanie asks Pearce to make it official. The General Manager accepts her request. Asuka leaves laughing. Meanwhile, Kairi remains facing Stephanie with fists raised. “KAIRIII!”, Asuka shouts. Sane answers her comrade’s call. SKY and Stephanie watch her as the segment comes to its close.
LA Knight approaches Jimmy Uso backstage. Jimmy doesn’t want anything to do with his problem with Jey. LA Knight assures him he doesn’t want to talk about that. He’s here to propose that he be his tag‑team partner tonight against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Jimmy doesn’t think that’s a good decision. LA Knight is aware that he cannot trust his family, but at least Jimmy has shown he is not like his brother. Jimmy states that LA Knight is putting him in a compromising position, since at Wrestlepalooza it will be he and his brother who face The Vision. Therefore, tonight “The Megastar” will have to find another partner. “It’s a crossroads”, admits LA Knight before leaving.
Grayson Waller, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods make their entrance into the ring. Waller confronts Adam Pearce for standing with his arms crossed after the former had several stitches following his match at Worlds Collide, and for not taking action after the thousands of signatures gathered to call for the ban of the “Mexican Destroyer.” Woods reminds everyone he had emergency surgery before Worlds Collide. And yet he took a flight to attend the event and support his teammates. Kofi says he’s still in pain from that match, but the tyrant Pearce doesn’t care about his health, so he has booked him a match for tonight. But it doesn’t matter, because he is a survivor. In fact, everyone present should be grateful to have the chance to see him in action. Xavier speaks to demand the fans to get down on their knees, raise their arms toward the sky and shout: “GOD, thank you for The New Day!”. Waller approaches the cameraman so that he signs the petition. After achieving his goal, he heads to the referee, who has no choice but to sign.
Penta vs. Kofi Kingston (with Grayson Waller and Xavier Woods)
Kingston wastes no time escaping to ringside. Penta goes after him to begin a chase. Kofi returns, ready to surprise the Mexican, but it’s the latter who throws him out of the ring. After that, Penta dives in with a tope con hilo. The masked man takes his opponent back inside the ring.
Penta prepares to launch with a springboard, but Kingston kicks him with a dropkick. The masked man falls to ringside. Waller mocks Penta, who responds with a chop. Penta threatens to go after Xavier, at which point Kofi surprises him with a Penalty Kick from the apron. After that, he dives with a frog splash directly onto Penta’s back.
Kingston throws Penta against the barrier, causing him to fall among the fans. Kofi brings him back into the ring to continue punishing him. Kingston ties the straps of Penta’s mask to the bottom rope to then beat him at will. The referee orders the Ghanaian to let go of the Mexican, whom he later unties.
Kofi keeps hitting Penta, who responds with some scissors. Penta kicks Kofi in one corner, where he applies a Pendulum Kick. 1..2..NO. Penta pins Kofi in the rope area, where he delivers a painful chop. Kofi responds with an SOS. 1..2..NO. Kingston surprises Penta in the corner. They exchange kicks and knees that end with both wrestlers flat on the mat.
Penta gets to his feet, ready to apply his Mexican Destroyer. Xavier climbs the apron to distract him while Grayson tries to attack from behind. However, the masked man notices the deception and knocks out Waller with a superkick. Penta tries to grab Xavier, who complains about his neck. At that moment, Kofi surprises his rival with a roll‑up. Penta escapes to quickly respond with a springboard Mexican Destroyer. 1..2..3.
Winner: Penta
We see Jey Uso leaving a voice message by phone. “Call me when you can, bro, I have some things I want to talk to you about”, says the Samoan before hanging up. Jimmy approaches his brother to ask who he was talking to. Jey says it’s nothing you should worry about. That said, he informs him that LA Knight is looking for him to ask him to be his teammate tonight. And Jimmy must answer “no.” Jey makes it clear that only family matters and no one else. Surprised by his brother’s attitude, Jimmy confesses that he has already spoken with “The Megastar” and that he declined his proposal. He also suggests he stop giving orders. Jey apologizes, noting that he wasn’t trying to say it that way. “Then change your tone, Uce, because last time I checked, you weren’t wearing an Ula Fala around your neck”, says Jimmy before walking away.
Byron Saxton leads into a video recap of the rivalry between AJ Lee and CM Punk with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
Jimmy Uso approaches LA Knight backstage. “Hey, are you still looking for a tag team partner?”, asks Jimmy. “Look, I wasn’t trying to put you in a tight spot”, replies LA Knight. “Well, count me in for tonight”, says the Samoan before departing. “YEAH”, exclaims a smiling LA Knight.
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch appear on stage, each with their entrance theme, before making their way to the ring. The fans boo them. “CM Punk, CM Punk!”, chants the crowd. Rollins points out that he was about to say the name of this stupid city, but instead he will ignore the fans present in the venue to welcome “Monday Night Rollins” to those watching the show at home. After that, he introduces his wife: Becky “Freakin” Lynch. The audience responds with boos. “Show some respect!”, shouts Seth. “AJ Lee, AJ Lee!”, chant the fans. The Irishwoman makes it clear she has a lot to say about the former Divas Champion, but unlike CM Punk, she will do it face to face.
Let’s Light It Up!
CM Punk and AJ Lee make their entrance into the ring. “CM Punk, CM Punk!”, the fans chant. “Hello everyone. I am AJ’s husband”, says CM Punk before making it clear he won’t bore them with an extremely long introduction. “AJ’s husband, AJ’s husband!”, the crowd chants. CM Punk believes no further introduction is necessary, since fans came to see his wife and know perfectly well what her name is. That said, he goes straight to address his opponents.
CM Punk first addresses Becky, making clear that throughout his career he has always said things to people’s faces. After that, he mocks the matching outfits that Lynch and Rollins wear, who look like a pair of fools. “Fools, fools!”, chants the crowd. “Oh, come on, you wouldn’t recognize style even if it slapped you in the face”, says Seth. CM Punk believes Rollins and Lynch are not capable of sharing the spotlight. They have shown that tonight during their entrance, forcing the fans to listen to two theme songs. He, meanwhile, came to the ring with his wife, leaving aside his entrance theme, “Cult of Personality”, to let AJ Lee’s theme play. For his part, Seth and Becky share a single neuron — and a single locker room, it seems — but, will they be able to share the spotlight at Wrestlepalooza or will their egos get in the way?
Seth interrupts CM Punk, pointing out that he is the last person who should talk about egos, since “The Best in the World” is the biggest egotist he has ever known in his life. “Shut the f* mouth!”, chants the crowd. “You are the human incarnation of herpes!”, Lynch yells at them. Rollins calms his wife before announcing that he will do something that will please the audience. Seth wants to give credit to CM Punk for having made the best personal decision of his life by marrying AJ Lee. However, involving her in this rivalry may have been the biggest mistake of his life. AJ Lee interrupts Rollins, making it clear that the mistake was his for involving his own wife.
Lynch insists that nobody expected AJ Lee to return after a decade. In fact, she believes CM Punk is irresponsible for allowing it. Becky reminds everyone that CM Punk said he only cared about three things: himself, the World Championship, and his wife. Lynch recalls the book AJ Lee wrote, where the former Divas Champion reflected on her neck issues she carried before retiring. Now she wonders how CM Punk will feel when he sees how she kicks his wife’s head next Saturday.
AJ Lee thanks her for reading her book, although she didn’t read the Irishwoman’s. That said, she confesses she’s worried about her neck going into Wrestlepalooza. However, she was able to win two Divas Championships with her neck injured. In fact, on her return to WWE she had a cold, and yet she swept the mat with Becky. AJ Lee also admits that sometimes she can act compulsively. That’s why Rollins, someone who boasts of having a plan for everything, won’t be able to anticipate one against her.
Seth laughs, admitting she may be right. Perhaps AJ Lee is too unpredictable to plan against, but her husband is a different case. Seth knows him too well, and knows that CM Punk has the ugly habit of walking away when he feels disappointed. That is why he hopes that once Becky finishes off AJ, CM Punk won’t feel disappointed and abandon her too. Enraged, AJ slaps him. “You know what? I would never lay hands on a lady. Fortunately I have someone who will,” says a smiling Rollins.
Becky looks around in several directions before asking her husband if he means her. Seth nods his head. Lynch refuses. The couple begins to argue while CM Punk and AJ Lee watch the scene with interest. “It’s your fault!” exclaims “The Visionary.” Annoyed, Becky leaves the ring. Seth calls her, but the Irishwoman continues up the ramp. “Where are you going? Come back here!” shouts Rollins. Lynch stops on the entrance ramp to confront her husband.
CM Punk positions himself behind Seth. He turns to see his arch-rival smiling. Seth hits him in the face and flees the ring. CM Punk runs after him. Meanwhile, Lynch returns to the ring to surprise AJ Lee with a ManHandle Slam. CM Punk returns to the ring to protect his wife. CM Punk finds himself face to face with Becky, who delivers two slaps before leaving the ring. Lynch and Rollins retreat towards the entrance ramp, satisfied with a well-executed plan. The couple celebrates the moment with a kiss. Meanwhile, an angry CM Punk attends to his wife. Thus we reach the end of this segment.
Byron Saxton interviews Dominik Mysterio backstage. Saxton congratulates Dom on his title victory last weekend, and asks him about the help he received from El Grande Americano. Mysterio ignores the question to remind him that he is now a double‑champion. Suddenly, sounds of banging are heard nearby. Several officials run in that direction. The camera follows them to find Xavier Woods attacking Penta with a metal chair. Producers and officials escort Woods from the area. Meanwhile, The War Raiders assist the Mexican, who remains lying on the floor.
El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee
Dragon surprises El Grande Americano with a dropkick as soon as the bell rings. El Grande Americano responds with a running enziguri. The action continues. Dragon takes the lead, but his rival halts his offense with a neckbreaker. El Grande Americano surprises his opponent in one of the corners, hoisting him onto his shoulders to execute a Rolling Death Valley Driver. El Grande Americano continues with a Penalty Kick.
Dragon attempts to recover, but takes a chop. The action moves toward the apron. Lee surprises his opponent with a hurricanrana that sends El Grande Americano crashing to ringside. The heel recovers on the commentary table, a moment Lee uses to launch a suicide dive converted into a cannonball in mid‑flight. Both men end up sprawled across the table. “This is amazing!”, chants the crowd.
The action returns inside the ring, where El Grande Americano takes control. El Grande Americano hits his opponent with several dropkicks before tying the straps of his mask to one of the ropes. In this way, El Grande Americano brutally strikes his rival, even trying to rip off his mask. Lee prevents it to hit back with a german suplex. Dragon follows with a superkick before starting a chop exchange. Lee surprises El Grande Americano with a sit‑out powerbomb. 1..2..NO.
El Grande Americano recovers, striking his opponent before seeking height on one of the turnbuckles. Lee strikes him to make him fall. El Grande Americano hangs by his legs. Dragon takes advantage to launch a Double Foot Stomp. 1..2..NO. Lee tries to tear off El Grande Americano’s mask, forcing the referee to intervene. Suddenly, a second Grande Americano appears on stage to kick Dragon with an enziguri. The original Grande Americano uses the opportunity to hit Lee with a spinning neckbreaker. 1..2..NO.
AJ Styles appears on scene to dispose of the second Grande Americano, sending him over the crowd barrier, before telling Lee that he can continue his match without issues. However, a second masked man appears out of nowhere to surprise Styles with a tornado DDT. Meanwhile, Dragon climbs one of the turnbuckles. The second masked man tries to enter the ring. The referee prevents him. At that moment, the first masked man returns to shove Lee, who falls to the mat. El Grande Americano catches him in a painful submission hold, forcing him to tap out.
Winner by submission: El Grande Americano
Lyra Valkyria approaches Bayley’s locker room, where she appears to be arguing with someone. “Girls, please calm down!”, yells “The Role Model” while knocking on the door. Fearful, the Irishwoman enters the room, where she finds a composed Bayley looking at her phone. Lyra wants to thank her for helping her tonight with The Judgment Day, especially after everything she said in the past. “After what you said to me? You know what? Thank you. Thank YOU for showing me there are still idiots here. Did you even care if I said: ‘yes, sure, go ahead’? No. You simply walk in uninvited. And if I were changing clothes? And if I had company? No, know what? No, no. Stay away from my locker room, idiot!”, shouts a furious Bayley before walking off. Lyra remains silent, her face frozen with emotion.
Rhea Ripley approaches Stephanie Vaquer at the Gorilla Position. “Stephanie, whether it's you or IYO who wins the title this weekend, I just want you to know I'm coming for you. So good luck”, says the Australian. “I’m ready, Mami”, replies Vaquer before making her entrance.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Kairi Sane (with Asuka)
Both women struggle. Vaquer pushes Kairi toward the ropes. The referee orders her to release the Japanese wrestler. The action continues with a ground-based exchange of holds and counters. After a very even start, Kairi shows her respect by extending her hand to Vaquer, who shakes it. Asuka yells at Sane, reminding her of her mission. Kairi charges back in, knocking Vaquer down by the ropes before landing a sliding clothesline. 1..2..NO.
The action moves to the apron. Stephanie blocks a sunset flip powerbomb to deliver a knee drop to Sane’s face, who is then attended to by Asuka near the barricade. Stephanie brings her opponent back to the ring, facing off with Asuka on the way. Vaquer hits a legdrop on Kairi. 1..2..NO. "La Primera" delivers a suplex to Sane before trapping her in a submission hold.
Kairi escapes and surprises the Chilean with a tarantula. Sane continues attacking Stephanie, but Vaquer catches her in the corner before knocking her down with a dropkick. Vaquer follows up with a running meteora. Sane recovers and knocks her opponent down with a right hand. She then hits a spinning neckbreaker. Kairi follows up with a corner forearm.
Kairi climbs the ropes to launch herself at Vaquer. Stephanie dodges and responds with a dropkick, followed by a DDT. 1..2..NO. Sane counters a Stalling Suplex with a DDT. Kairi climbs one of the corners. Stephanie follows her. Both women trade strikes. Sane knocks her opponent down with a headbutt. Vaquer hangs upside down by her legs. Kairi takes advantage and hits a Double Foot Stomp. 1..2..NO.
Sane hits Stephanie with two back elbows. Vaquer dodges a third and strikes back hard. Stephanie applies a Dragon Screw to Kairi, who retreats in pain to ringside with Asuka. Stephanie launches herself onto both with a diving crossbody. Vaquer brings Kairi back into the ring and hits her with the Devil’s Kiss. After that, she finishes the match with her SVB. 1..2..3.
Winner: Stephanie Vaquer
Asuka is about to enter the ring when IYO SKY appears. She stands between her partner and Vaquer, preventing a potential altercation. "The Empress of Tomorrow" and "The Genius of the Sky" argue in Japanese, with the latter trying to calm her compatriot’s fury. Asuka finally decides to leave the ring and heads backstage with Kairi. IYO turns to Stephanie and extends her hand. The Chilean shakes it. Both women study each other closely ahead of their title match at Wrestlepalooza.
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed address The Usos in a video promo. Reed acknowledges that Jimmy and Jey are one of the best teams in history. However, they've already been surpassed by The Vision. And just like the myth of The Bloodline came to an end, so will that of The Usos. Tonight, the Samoans will get a small preview of what’s to come at Wrestlepalooza, when The Vision ends The Usos for good. “At Wrestlepalooza, The Usos will meet their end. We’ll beat you at your own game and you’ll learn the same lesson your cousin did: Seth Rollins has a vision for this business, and it doesn’t change for anyone, at any time, or in any place,” adds Breakker to close the video.
Byron Saxton interviews El Grande Americano in the crowd area. Saxton begins by congratulating him on his victory tonight. The masked man says he doesn’t understand what Byron is saying and calls him stupid. El Grande Americano reminds everyone that he’s Mexican. Saxton then asks about the two masked men who helped him tonight. El Grande Americano glares at the interviewer before walking away without answering, ending this short segment.
We move backstage, where a furious Asuka (being held back by Kairi Sane) argues with IYO SKY. "The Empress of Tomorrow" says she’s only trying to help her win the Women’s World Championship. SKY, however, wants to do it on her own, just as Asuka once did. Asuka accepts her friend’s decision (though not gracefully) and leaves. Tired and in pain, Sane tries to recover next to IYO. "KAIRIIIIII!" yells "The Empress of Tomorrow". Sane has no choice but to follow her call.
The Judgment Day are seen celebrating Dominik Mysterio’s victory at World Collide and his new status as a double champion. However, Finn Bálor thinks they shouldn’t celebrate too much, as Roxanne Perez lost tonight. Moreover, he still doesn’t understand what deal Dom has with El Grande Americano, reminding him that he’s still part of this faction and shouldn’t keep secrets. JD McDonagh calms Bálor down, but agrees with him. McDonagh speaks on behalf of everyone present, voicing concern about what the masked man might ask in return for his help. Mysterio responds that El Grande Americano just wanted to earn his respect because he is the greatest Mysterio in history. Finn doesn’t buy it, adding that next time Dom needs help, he shouldn’t count on them. Bálor and McDonagh walk away. At that moment, Rusev appears on the scene to formally introduce himself. The Bulgarian extends his hand, but Mysterio doesn’t shake it, saying he has his hands full holding his titles. Rusev then informs him that he will be the next Intercontinental Champion. “Enjoy your party,” says the Bulgarian before leaving.

Winners: The Vision
Bron and Bronson continue attacking Jimmy. Reed holds Uso in place as Breakker levels him with a charging spear.
Jey Uso appears!
Armed with a steel chair, Jey manages to fend off their enemies. Jey helps his brother to his feet. Meanwhile, LA Knight returns to the ring. "The Megastar" picks up the steel chair and stalks “Main Event.” Jey turns around to face LA Knight, trying to calm him. "The Megastar" drops the chair. Jey extends his hand to LA Knight, who, after thinking about it, decides to shake it. Jey turns to go back to his brother, but… LA Knight suddenly hits him with a Blunt Force Trauma! Satisfied with his revenge, LA Knight leaves the ring and heads backstage. Thus we reach the end of this week’s episode.
