Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships at NXT Homecoming

Tonight, NXT celebrated a very special edition of Homecoming from its original home, Full Sail University. In an event full of great matches and surprise returns, the Women's Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, defended their titles against The Culling.

Amid chants of "Welcome home!", Charlotte and Alexa first addressed Triple H and Shawn Michaels. They stated that it didn't matter who was in charge, as the women's division has always been the true backbone of NXT. Charlotte recalled that the "women's revolution" was born there, with the Four Horsewomen and other superstars, like Paige, Asuka, Carmella, and Ember Moon.

Then the match began with Tatum Paxley showing great agility, but Alexa Bliss outsmarted her, taking her down with a hurricanrana. However, The Culling took control of the match, teaming up to attack Charlotte Flair and almost secure the victory with an enziguri and a codebreaker.

The end of the match was chaotic, with the interference of Shawn Spears and Niko Vance causing a distraction, but in the end, Alexa Bliss dodged Tatum's 450 Splash and finished her off with her Sister Abigail to secure the victory, in their second title defense as Tag Team Champions.
