Oba Femi and Trick Williams will face off on WWE NXT with both titles on the line

The Grayson Waller Effect returned to NXT with Grayson Waller as the host and had as guests the NXT Champion Oba Femi and Ricky Saints, his challenger for No Mercy. The two verbally clashed, with Oba downplaying Saints' talent and Ricky responding that, unlike a college athlete, he is "The Absolute" who overcame failure to reach the top.

The segment grew tenser with the interruption of Trick Williams. Williams entered the ring to make it clear that his only goal was to regain the NXT Championship and that he didn't care who held it. This led to a tense face-off between Williams and Oba Femi, while Grayson Waller watched the situation with a smile.

Seeing an opportunity, Grayson took the microphone and proposed a bold plan: Oba Femi and Trick Williams would face off next week in a match where both titles would be on the line. The winner of that match would defend their new "booty" against Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy. Oba Femi immediately accepted the challenge, concluding the segment.
