WWE previews the NXT card for September 23

The next episode of WWE NXT, which will air on Tuesday, September 23 on The CW and Netflix, as usual every week, comes with a card full of action and with direct consequences for the No Mercy event. The developmental brand will put two championships on the line in a single match and will determine the next challenger for the WWE Speed Championship.

The main attraction will be the showdown between Oba Femi, NXT champion, and Trick Williams, current TNA World Champion. Both will put their belts on the line. The winner will advance to No Mercy to defend the NXT championship against the number one contender, Ricky Saints.

On the other hand, the tournament to determine the challenger for the WWE Speed Championship will reach its conclusion. Candice LeRae and Lainey Reid will face off in a match that will grant the winner the opportunity to fight against Sol Ruca for the title at No Mercy.

The card also includes a match between Lexis King and Myles Borne, who will settle their rivalry in a Lights Out Match, a type of no rules match that guarantees violence and spectacle.
