This weekend, AEW All Out will be celebrated, one of the most important PPV events of the year which, despite the great lineup offered, is marked by the absence of big stars due to injuries, such as Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland. In response to comments suggesting the company couldn't put together a solid card without them, Tony Schiavone stepped up with a direct message to the critics.
On his podcast What Happened When, Schiavone defended All Elite Wrestling's ability to present a competitive event thanks to the depth of its roster. "With three of your top stars out, how can you move forward? The answer is having about 14 top-level stars," he commented, reminding that the company doesn't rely solely on a few names to shine.
The veteran commentator went even further and challenged detractors to put themselves in the shoes of a booker: "Why don't we bring one of those critics in and have them put together a card? And while they do that, they can go to h***, how about that?", he bluntly stated, making clear his confidence in AEW's product.
The show, taking place at the ScotiaBank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, features high-caliber matches, such as the showdown between Hangman Page and Kyle Fletcher for the AEW World Championship. Below is the updated card for the show so far.
