Lola Vice will be competing in one of the most important matches of her professional wrestling career in just ten days. The Cuban-American wrestler will face Jacy Jayne at NXT No Mercy with the Women's Championship of the brand on the line. If victorious, Lola would claim her first title as a WWE superstar. It's a goal she has been pursuing for a long time and now it's closer than ever.
"This is my third title opportunity and I believe now more than ever I am ready. Jacy is a tough champion. She took the title from Stephanie," Lola said in a recent interview with Scott Johnson from Going Ringside.
Of course, Vice will also have to deal with Jayne's partners in Fatal Influence, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley. Despite recent disagreements within the faction, they remain united, at least for now. "She has Fallon and Jazmyn, although I have already knocked them both out. I think next Saturday I will have my hands full", Vice commented.
Lola not only has confidence in her victory but also the support of the Miami crowd, the city where she grew up and where her family and childhood friends still reside. "Next Saturday is my WrestleMania in Miami. This is my moment and my chance to bring that title home... I really feel like the stars are aligning and this is my moment", she stated.
Lola is one of the most beloved wrestlers on the current NXT roster. Vice has earned a great reputation thanks to her MMA-inspired fighting style, which has allowed her to remain undefeated in Underground matches. In addition to this, her frequent appearances on Lucha Libre AAA shows, where she has formed a curious and successful alliance with Mr. Iguana, have also contributed to her popularity. Meanwhile, the Cuban-American wrestler is getting ready to etch her name in NXT history as its twenty-fourth champion.
