With very few dates left on his retirement tour, WWE fans are eager to find out who John Cena's final opponents will be. One of them is already confirmed: Brock Lesnar, at Wrestlepalooza this weekend. However, on the Busted Open Radio show, Hall of Famer Bully Ray made a symbolic proposal for Cena's final match, scheduled for December 13 in Washington D.C.

Ray highlighted Dominik Mysterio as a possible opponent for that last match, due to the strong negative reactions he generates from the audience: "I like the idea of a match between Dominik and Cena because Dom has a lot of heat. My God, if Dom could get that heat against Cena, even by cheating and beating him... imagine what that could mean for him," he pointed out.

Currently, Mysterio holds both the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the AAA Megachampionship. However, for such a special occasion, Bully Ray emphasized that no title would be on the line, even though it is the only major WWE title he has never held.

An unexpected victory to catapult Dominik

Bully Ray even imagined a scenario where Mysterio could unexpectedly defeat Cena: "How could we capture that lightning in a bottle for Dominik Mysterio and have him face John using all that heat next year? Imagine: an impromptu match between Dominik and John, and Dom places a banana peel in front of Cena, he slips and Dom gets the victory," he stated.

Coincidentally, the only title that has eluded Cena in his career is the Intercontinental Championship, which has led some fans to dream of seeing him win that title before retiring. However, Bully Ray believes it is not necessary: "I don't see it as a problem, I would put Dom above that."
