CM Punk is one of the most polarizing wrestlers in the history of this business. Loved by many, hated by others, "The Best in the World" doesn't leave anyone indifferent, perhaps because of his particular way of being, as he doesn't mince words when speaking his mind. Obviously, this usually generates controversy, which is exactly what happened this very afternoon.

A few hours ago, GQ posted a new episode of Actually Me on YouTube with CM Punk as a guest. The video shows the former World Heavyweight Champion responding to various fan comments on social media, until a TikTok user, @Nycwrestleking, wondered when "The Best in the World" will retire.

True to his nature, and also to his character, CM Punk responded unfiltered and forcefully. "I'll retire when I damn well please. There's work to be done, okay? And you'll miss me when I'm gone, so shut the hell up", said the wrestler.

CM Punk began his career in the world of professional wrestling in 1998, leaving behind an extensive and successful career (except for his seven-year hiatus) in promotions such as Ring of Honor, PGW, TNA Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, and, of course, WWE, where he currently competes.

CM Punk returned to WWE in November 2024 to start his second stint with the company. A period that he seems to be enjoying like never before. And it's because, in addition to being one of the main figures in the company, the wrestler has also been involved in backstage tasks, helping the younger talent.

Since his return to the company, CM Punk has been the target of Seth Rollins, whose main goal is to prevent "The Best in the World" from getting his hands on a world championship. To achieve this, Seth even enlisted the help of his wife Becky Lynch, which ultimately led to the return of AJ Lee, CM Punk's wife and one of the most beloved female wrestlers of the 21st century. Now, the four are scheduled to face off in a mixed tag team match at WWE Wrestlepalooza.
