Piper Niven stopped appearing on WWE's television programming shortly after the European tour for Clash in Paris. At that time, the company did not offer details about the Scottish wrestler's health status. Meanwhile, her faction teammates, Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, have continued to appear on screen without providing further information.

What could have been a case of a talent needing to step away from action to recover from an injury has turned into something more complex. According to Bryan Alvarez, a journalist from Wrestling Observer, there is concern within WWE about Piper Niven's future.

"What I can tell you is that there is concern that it could be an injury that ends her career. So, whatever it is, it's serious. Hopefully, she can come back, but she's out due to an injury," Alvarez said in the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live.

Piper Niven last competed on the August 22 episode of SmackDown, held in Dublin, Ireland, where she defeated Charlotte Flair in a singles match with the help of Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre. A week later, Piper and Alba were scheduled to face Flair and Alexa Bliss in a tag team match, but plans changed last minute.

Chelsea and Alba attacked the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, leading to a singles match between Green and Bliss. That was also the night when Niven stopped appearing on screen. Currently, more details about her injury and when it occurred are unknown, but given WWE's silence and Alvarez's report, it seems to be something truly serious.
