WWE has officially confirmed that the WWE ID Women's Championship is now vacant following Kylie Rae's pregnancy announcement. The news was revealed after a fan asked her on social media why she had vacated another title, the Relentless Wrestling one. Rae responded directly: "Because I'm pregnant," accompanying the message with a photo in front of the mirror showing her pregnancy.
In response to the impact, the official WWE ID account on Twitter released a statement confirming the situation: "The WWE ID Women's Championship is now vacant. WWE ID is proud to have Kylie Rae go down in history as the first champion and sends her congratulations on the arrival of her baby. Thank you, Kylie!".
This will be Rae's second child with her partner, independent wrestler Isaias Velázquez, with whom she already had a baby in October 2023. The news comes at a special moment in her career, as she had captured the WWE ID women's championship in August during a GCW show in Rutherford (New Jersey), after defeating Zara Zakher and Zayda Steel in a triple threat match.
With her temporary departure, Rae goes down in history as the first monarch of the women's division of WWE ID, leaving vacant a title that was just beginning to establish itself within the company's new development program. At the moment, WWE has not revealed how the next champion will be decided, although it is expected that the process will become an important showcase for emerging talent.
Kylie Rae's career has been marked by overcoming challenges. After brief stints in AEW, Impact Wrestling, and NWA, she decided to retire in 2021 due to mental health issues. However, she returned to the ring and eventually signed with WWE in the fall of 2024 as part of the WWE ID program. Her current announcement not only signifies a professional pause but also the beginning of a new personal chapter.
