After the All Out event last Saturday, AEW fans are already eager for the arrival of a new Dynamite show. In addition to finding out who could emerge as the new challenger for Adam Page, seeing what the future holds for MJF after his two tough losses this weekend, or hearing what Kris Statlander can share as the new World Champion, many others are already speculating about what special announcement Tony Khan will make.

According to Wrestling Observer journalist Dave Meltzer, the reason for Khan's presence on the show is none other than to announce the creation of the AEW Tag Team Championships

Additionally, Meltzer revealed that the belts were created and planned to be introduced into the programming some time ago, but the numerous absences AEW has suffered within its division have forced the company to change its plans. However, the good moment that their female wrestlers are currently experiencing, and the quality time they have in the programming, would have led All Elite to make this leap.

The introduction of these championships would provide a new incentive to a part of the roster that has already been working very well in recent weeks. The mid-card women's division has seen its weekly screen time greatly increased, especially thanks to the great reigns of Mercedes Moné and Toni Storm, who have propelled many female wrestlers.

These tag team titles will be the third that the women of AEW can aspire to, after the introduction of the TBS Championship in 2021, whose first winner was Jade Cargill.
