2025 is proving to be a particularly tough year for Charlotte Flair. After returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble and being greeted with boos, in addition to going through a divorce with Andrade that was even mentioned in the build-up to WrestleMania 41, the wrestler has now shared deeply painful news: the death of her best friend, Britney Zahn.

Through Instagram, Flair dedicated an extensive and emotional message to what she defined as her chosen sister. She recalled how they met on the Charlotte Elite volleyball team in their teens, and how they became inseparable from that moment on. Britney was the one who offered her first rides to training, and over time became her biggest support in her personal life.

In her letter, Flair recounted how Zahn was present in pivotal moments: when her parents separated, when her brother Reid passed away, or even in everyday life, teaching her everything from doing laundry to managing her finances. Britney was described as "the All-American girl," someone who valued family above all else and remained composed even in the midst of her own personal tragedies.

I never expected a world without you. Until I see you again. I love you, Zahn.

Amid a year already marked by professional and personal challenges, this news adds a new emotional burden for Charlotte Flair. Beyond the ring, The Queen wanted to publicly express her love and gratitude towards a friend she defined as essential in her growth and life. Currently, Flair holds the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
