The TNA Victory Road card continues to be updated just 24 hours before the event. Through a video posted on the company's social media, Santino Marella has announced that Eric Young and Joe Hendry will face off in a singles match at the Edmonton show.
It all started when a furious Young approached the "TNA Authority Director" to demand a match against Hendry after the Scotsman cost him the victory in the last weekly episode of TNA iMPACT! Marella, on his part, hinted that he should fire him for attacking the referee after that match. "You don't have the balls to fire me. You don't have the power to do it. You're just a corporate puppet in this company. Do it or else...", threateningly replied the former World Champion.
Marella reiterated his stance of not accepting the wrestler's demands. However, that morning he had received an email from TNA management asking him to schedule a match between Joe Hendry and Eric Young. "That's right, puppet. Go and do your job", said a smiling Young as Marella left the scene.
This will be the first singles match between Hendry and Young in their professional careers, and Victory Road one of the last events in which the Scotsman will participate, as he has slowly been disappearing from the company's TV programming due to his imminent arrival at WWE NXT.
TNA Victory Road will take place tomorrow, September 26, 2025, at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Fans can watch the show live from the stands or online through TNA Plus and Triller TV. Below you can read the updated card for the show.
