Bound for Glory already has a new confirmed match for the X Division Championship. After successfully defending his title at Victory Road against Myron Reed, Leon Slater met his next challenger: NXT's young talent Je'Von Evans.
After the Victory Road match, Authority Director Santino Marella came out to the ring to congratulate Leon Slater. At that moment, he announced that he had been in talks with NXT's general manager, Ava, and revealed that Evans will be the challenger at Bound for Glory.
Evans himself appeared in a video to accept, expressing his excitement about stepping into a TNA ring for the first time. "I've never had the opportunity to compete here, but Bound for Glory is going to be truly explosive," he declared.
It is worth noting that Evans made a surprise appearance on SmackDown to unsuccessfully challenge Sami Zayn for the United States Championship. Tonight, at WWE No Mercy, Evans will face Josh Briggs.
TNA Bound For Glory will take place on October 12, 2025, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. Fans can watch the show live from the stands or online through TNA Plus and Triller TV. Below you can read the updated card for the show.
