WWE and Activision have reached a collaboration agreement in anticipation of the upcoming release of the ninth season of Call of Duty: Mobile, the popular mobile game from the well-known first-person shooter saga. Under the name Midnight Rumble, the new season will feature two new playable and easily recognizable skins for any WWE fan: Alexa Bliss and The Undertaker.

Debuting with them will be a special game mode, in which all players will start with a pair of boxing gloves to face their opponents in hand-to-hand combat. Killstreaks will allow players to transform into WWE superstars, unlocking more health, skill upgrades, and finishing moves.

Furthermore, this new season will also be accompanied by thematic events, including the WWE Challenge, through which players can accumulate SmackDown Points to redeem rewards in the form of weapons, special accessories, and much more.

This is not the first time WWE has collaborated with a video game franchise. Just last year, in 2023, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair were added as playable characters in the popular video game Fortnite. Additionally, WWE has its own series, such as WWE 2K, and several mobile games like WWE Supercard, WWE Immortals, or WWE Mayhem.

Currently, Alexa Bliss is part of the SmackDown roster, where she reigns as the Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Charlotte Flair. The chemistry between these two women has won over fans, making them one of the most beloved duos in the entire company.

On the other hand, The Undertaker is one of the biggest legends in the business. Since retiring as an active wrestler, "The Deadman" has taken on a prominent role behind the scenes, whether as a coach in WWE's developmental territory or closely collaborating in the evolution of Lucha Libre AAA after it was acquired by the company owned by Endeavor.
