Hologram will not be available to compete on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday after having suffered an attack backstage at the hands of Kyle Fletcher during the latest episode of AEW Collision, a segment that also featured the appearance of his nemesis, Clon. AEW President, Tony Khan, confirmed on social media that the wrestler has "significant injuries" and will likely be out of action for the remainder of 2025.

"After an unprovoked attack backstage at #AEWCollision tonight by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Hologram has significant injuries," Tony Khan wrote on social media. "We all support Hologram and wish him the best in his recovery. Unfortunately, Hologram is likely to be out for the remainder of 2025."

The 26-year-old had fought just a few days before on Dynamite, achieving victory in a triple threat match by scoring the pinfall on Hechicero. The company has not clarified whether the injury is legitimate or part of the storyline, nor the exact severity of the damages.

With the absence, Orange Cassidy will take Hologram's place and will be the one to face Fletcher this Wednesday. This leaves the immediate direction of the Clon character in suspense, a key piece in Hologram's rivalry since his debut in 2024.

Since his debut in July 2024, Hologram had maintained an undefeated streak in singles and tag team matches. However, he had already spent several months out between October 2024 and February 2025 due to an ankle injury suffered at WrestleDream, a period that also coincided with the birth of his first child.
