The European independent scene says goodbye to another of its most promising figures: Zozaya, one of Spain's top prospects, has officially signed with WWE. The wrestler, who caused a sensation throughout Europe, will begin the next chapter of his career after an emotional farewell from his local promoter, La Triple W in Madrid.

Through a Twitter/X post shared by a friend, Zozaya's departure was confirmed. The message reflected a mix of pride and sadness knowing that the Spanish star is pursuing his lifelong dream, with the possibility of never stepping foot in the ring where he built his legacy again.

Zozaya caught WWE's attention during the tryouts held on March 29 at the UK Performance Center in London. His incredible performance made him stand out among several contenders, combined with his experience in European promotions like PROGRESS Wrestling and RevPro. He bade farewell to the latter last month after a stellar match against Zack Sabre Jr.

Zozaya, 23 years old with six years of experience, has had great triumphs and matches in the European scene, highlighting the Absolute Championship of La Triple W. With his signature, he becomes the second Spanish wrestler to officially join WWE, following in the footsteps of Axiom, who has had a notable career in NXT and SmackDown.
