These last months are undoubtedly some of the most complicated that Vince McMahon has faced at all levels. In addition to the lawsuit for traffic and sexual abuse by Janel Grant and the various charges he faces following his car accident last July, he now faces the advancement of the lawsuit filed by the WWE shareholders themselves.

They allege that McMahon manipulated the company's sale and merger process to secure it for the conglomerate TKO. Shareholders argue that other holdings such as Liberty Media, owner of Formula 1 and Moto GP, were interested in buying the company, but McMahon interrupted this process. The reason:  TKO was the only platform that offered him a job (in this case as Chief Executive Officer). It is curious how, if McMahon is ultimately found guilty of these accusations, the effort to sell his company would have been in vain after leaving his position and selling his shares

In the last hours, we have learned that McMahon and other former employees of the company such as John Laurinaitis or the Mangieri brothers, former assistants of McMahon, are summoned to testify and provide information in the Delaware Chancery Court. The process will take place via video call on September 26. This will happen after several independent members of the WWE board who were present during the merger process have already given their testimony.

Although this time the main protagonist is Vince McMahon after the news of his judicial summons, the lawsuit also affects other figures such as Nick Khan, WWE President, Triple H, Chief Content Officer for not protecting the rights of the shareholders.

This jurisdictional process is not taking place in a federal court, so it is more difficult to be in the media spotlight. All information obtained in the investigation process is private. Documents, videos, or messages are being collected with the aim of being used in the trial by both parties. However, some of this evidence could come to light if they are ultimately used in a hearing or in the trial itself. What is clear is that these are serious accusations that further tarnish the reputation of an already diminished Vince McMahon.
