Edris Enofé is no longer part of WWE. This afternoon, the wrestler himself confirmed it through a video posted on his social media. In the video, Enofé reveals that it has been a personal decision and that he will follow his instincts to continue his career outside the company owned by Endeavor.
"As of today, I officially leave WWE. It has been a decision I have contemplated for a long time and I will follow my intuition," said Enofé. "That being said, over the past four years I have had the opportunity to meet and work with amazing people, from wrestlers and referees to the creative team, medical staff, and of course, all the coaches who dedicated so much time and effort to help me improve. For all of this, I will always be grateful to you. And, of course, also to all the fans who have supported me and have been by my side all these years. Thank you."
Edris Enofé signed with WWE in 2021 as a developmental talent. Enofé stood out in the tag team division alongside Malik Blade, even competing for the NXT Tag Team Championships. However, injuries eventually took their toll, directly impacting his presence on the developmental brand's television programming.
Enofé injured his shoulder in August 2024, which kept him out of action for six months. By then, the company had no plans for the wrestler, so he was sent to WWE Evolve. Enofé portrayed a heel character on the new brand, where he aimed to conquer their male championship. Along the way, he crossed paths with Dante Chen, with whom he had an intense rivalry, which ultimately turned out to be his last in his time with the company.
