True to its annual appointment, Blood and Guts will return to the television programming of All Elite Wrestling in the form of a special AEW Dynamite episode on November 12th. This afternoon, the company has confirmed that the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, will be the venue for the event.

As is tradition, the show will feature a unique match, Blood and Guts, which will be the true protagonist of the night. 2 teams that hate each other and a setting with 2 rings will be the elements that make up a true battle royal that will delight the spectators...twice over.

And for the first time in its history, the event could feature two Blood and Guts matches, one male and one female. This was hinted at by Jamie Hayter in the most recent episode of AEW Collision, where she directly challenged Triangle of Madness to this particular and violent match. So far, the company has not confirmed the match or the talents that would participate, although there are many women involved in this rivalry.

Blood and Guts debuted as a television special on May 5, 2021 at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then, it has not missed its annual appointment, with the following editions taking place in Detroit, Michigan (June 29, 2022), Boston, Massachusetts (July 19, 2023), and Nashville, Tennessee (June 24, 2024). This year's edition will be the first to be held in the fall.

The 2024 edition featured a Blood and Guts match as the main event, which ended with Team AEW (Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, Max Caster, and Anthony Bowens) defeating Team Elite (The Young Bucks, Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada, and Hangman Adam Page) by forcing Matthew Jackson to submit.
