NXT and TNA confirm their teams for Showdown

Tonight, WWE NXT witnessed a chaotic edition with the presence of TNA superstars. Throughout the show, several matches were confirmed and teams were chosen for Showdown. However, the main event ended badly, as the talents engaged in a wild brawl throughout the venue.

Tension escalated after the main event when the entire TNA roster invaded the venue's parking lot, forcing NXT talents to confront them. After being separated, both rosters surrounded the ring as general managers, Ava and Santino Marella, joined the captains for the crucial team announcement, paving the way towards Showdown.

The complete lineups for the brand battle were officially revealed: the male NXT Team was composed of their captain Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans, and Myles Borne, while Mike Santana will lead TNA with Leon Slater, Frankie Kazarian, and Moose. In the women's division, Jacy Jayne's NXT Team includes Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, and Lola Vice, and Kelani Jordan's TNA Team is comprised of Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, and Mara Sadé.

Chaos erupted when Mike Santana took the microphone and, after promising that TNA would win Showdown, punched Trick Williams. This attack instantly sparked a new all-out brawl between both brands, spreading throughout the venue. The chaos was witnessed by Shawn Michaels, who appeared on the entrance ramp and, smiling, observed the unleashed destruction on his brand.
