WWE will continue its journey towards Crown Jewel with a new edition of SmackDown, which will take place tomorrow in the city of Cincinnati. The show's main attraction will be a tag team match pitting Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton against The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed), which was announced earlier this week.
Meanwhile, WWE has expanded the show's lineup with two new matches and a segment. This segment will be led by Tiffany Stratton, who will reflect on her upcoming match against Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Crown Jewel. The WWE Women's Champion wants to maintain her undefeated streak in 2025 by defeating one of the most beloved female talents currently in the PLE of Australia. Both women have recently visited each other on SmackDown and Raw, so it is possible that "The First Lady" will make an appearance tomorrow on the blue brand show.
As for the matches, Sami Zayn will once again put the United States Championship on the line in an open challenge. Since the Canadian reinstated this concept popularized by John Cena, the title has been defended every week. Tomorrow will mark the fifth consecutive week in which the gold is at stake on the blue brand.
Finally, Damian Priest will be in action. WWE has not announced his opponent, although it is expected that the match will somehow involve Aleister Black, with whom the Puerto Rican wrestler maintains an intense and personal rivalry. Last week, the Dutchman attacked Priest backstage before hinting that their issues will not be resolved until only one of them is left standing.
The next episode of Friday Night SmackDown will take place tomorrow, Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
