Donald Trump confirmed this weekend that the UFC event at the White House already has a date. During a speech given on Sunday, the president announced that the fights will take place on June 14, 2026, coinciding with his birthday. At the moment, UFC has not officially confirmed the date.
"On June 14th of next year, we will have a great UFC event at the White House, in the White House gardens," Trump declared to the attendees. The event will be part of the America 250 celebrations, commemorating the 250 years of the independence of the United States.
The President of the United States has mentioned on several occasions his desire to organize a UFC event at the White House, and Dana White confirmed in August that the idea would come true. Although the fight card has not been decided yet, fighters like Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have shown interest in being part of this historic event.
During his second term, Trump has maintained a close relationship with UFC and WWE. Dana White has appeared alongside the president at various public events, including his victory speech after re-election. The connection between the president and the world of fighting continues to grow. Last week, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon visited the White House to participate in the signing of an executive order aimed at promoting the use of artificial intelligence in treatments against childhood cancer.
If the date is finalized, the event will set a historic precedent for mixed martial arts, becoming the first official UFC show held in the presidential gardens of the United States.
