Spanish wrestling is experiencing one of its best times in terms of international exposure. In recent years, we have seen Axiom become the first superstar from WWE in history, while Zozaya is about to embark on the same path that Vallecas' did before making the leap to NXT. However, the national scene still has great talents that have a lot to offer.
Such is the case of Iker Navarro, Sito Sánchez, and Joey Torres, who this morning made their debut in Pro Wrestling NOAH. The three talents were part of the card of MONDAY MAGIC XTREME SEASON, a show held at the Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo, Japan.
The Spaniards joined forces with the Chilean Eddie Vergara and the Dutch Nathan de Windt to face the team of Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Alejandro, Kai Fujimura, and Harutoki, who ultimately emerged victorious. The match was very well received by the attending audience. Below are the results of the event.
Iker Navarro, also known as "El Cazador," officially debuted as a wrestler in December 2021 with Lucha Libre Barcelona. Trained by Coach Morillas, Anarko Montana, Jeffrey Pac, and Joey Sky, Navarro has competed in both national and foreign promotions, such as RevPro.
In his over three-year career, Navarro has faced renowned national and international rivals such as Carlos Romo, Luke Jacobs, or Samuray Del Sol, among others. Among his achievements are a Revolution Championship Wrestling (RCW) World Championship, an AIWF European Championship, and a TYRIS Tag Team Championship (alongside Rizo).
Sito Sánchez made his professional debut in 2019, also in Lucha Libre Barcelona. Trained by Jeffrey Pac and Joey Sky, Sánchez has excelled both individually and in tag teams. He is currently part of Barcelona Blacklist alongside Joey Torres, a team he has represented in several RevPro events. He holds four championships: two tag team titles as part of Barcelona Blacklist, an Absolute Championship of Lucha Libre Barcelona, and an Absolute Championship of TYRIS, which he currently holds.
Joey Torres entered the professional wrestling business in 2020 competing for RIOT Wrestling. Trained by Coach Morillas, JB, Bad Boy, and Jeffrey Pac, Torres excels both as a solo wrestler and in tag teams, teaming up with Sito Sánchez in Barcelona Blacklist. Three of the four titles in his record are tag team championships.
He currently holds the Rebelion Lucha Libre World Championship, which he won last July in a three-way match against Sánchez and Navarro. Today, three months later, he has joined forces with his former rivals to make history together.
