Tonight, in the last edition of WWE Raw before Crown Jewel, the rivalries continued to grow, and the night included a pleasant surprise when Maxxine Dupri had one of her best matches since her debut and managed to defeat the Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.
The match started with Becky Lynch establishing her aggressiveness, outperforming Maxxine Dupri in the initial exchanges and punishing her against the ropes. However, Dupri proved to be up to the challenge with a surprising Lou Thesz press and a dropkick that forced the champion to retreat to ringside. Despite Maxxine's offense, Lynch quickly responded with a Bexploder against the public barrier, regaining control of the match.
The match continued with both superstars exchanging hard hits and near falls. Lynch kept the pressure on with Superplexes and submissions, but Maxxine showed incredible resilience, escaping multiple two-counts. Maxxine's offense, which included an Ankle Lock and a diving crossbody, started to show signs of frustration in Lynch.
In the final moments, Becky threw her opponent out of the ring and unleashed a brutal punishment by repeatedly hitting Dupri against the metal stairs and the announcers' table. However, Lynch's overconfidence cost her the match: while she was distracted mocking the audience, Maxxine Dupri managed to re-enter the ring in time. The referee reached the fateful count of ten and declared Dupri the winner by count-out, sealing a crucial victory.
