WWE will celebrate tonight a historic event, NXT Showdown, where the talent of its developmental brand will face off against the roster of TNA Wrestling in a competition that will determine which of the two brands is better. The show will take place at the Performance Center and will feature several matches, including two Survivor Series matches, which will be the highlight of the evening.
However, none of them will be responsible for opening tonight's show. Through their social networks, WWE has announced that the title vs. title match pitting The Hardy Boyz against DarkState will be the first match of NXT Showdown.
With a victory, The Hardy Boyz will not only defend the TNA World Championships, which will be at stake again at Bound For Glory against another legendary team, The Dudley Boyz, but they will also be able to expand their legend by adding a championship they have never held before. On the other hand, DarkState will try to obtain the most important victory of their careers as they continue their reign of terror in both NXT and TNA.
WWE NXT Showdown will take place tonight at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Fans will be able to witness the show live from the venue, or through its broadcast in the United States on The CW and on Netflix internationally. Below, we leave you with the updated card of the event.
