Since WWE and TNA Wrestling signed their historic collaboration agreement, numerous talents from both companies have appeared on each other's shows. Some of them, like Matt Cardona or Mustafa Ali, were very well received by the NXT audience upon their return to the company. However, fans still miss a particular talent: Nic Nemeth.

Formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, Nemeth was always considered one of the most underrated wrestlers in WWE. After being released by the company, Nemeth began a successful stint on the independent circuit that took him to compete all over the world until he landed in TNA, where he seems to have found his place. However, the question still remains: Will Nemeth return to what was once his home as a talent of TNA?

"It could be, but I love what I do. I really love what we are doing as a company, and also what I can do in my free time, in addition to with the company. So yes, maybe something," replied the wrestler when asked about a potential return to WWE during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.

"I've said it since they started talking and making this whole relationship with WWE public: I said that, if I can help TNA in any way, I'll be there," he continued. "If it's about going to NXT for a match, I'm not interested. I've done everything I could do in NXT."

"If it's about doing something with someone I've already worked with, like Randy, Cody, or Seth, I'd be open to it if that helps TNA achieve something, take a step forward, or simply check a box that benefits us. But if not, I'll be cheering from the outside," he explained.

Why not return to NXT?

"Oh, I don't think I have any place there. I was already a champion. And if I go now, participate in a battle royal and lose... what's the point? That doesn't help TNA gain visibility. Now, if it's 'come fight our champion and, in return, someone will come to TNA and do something,' then yes. Please, use me as a bargaining tool, because I want the best for TNA," said Nemeth.

"There are some possibilities, but in general, I would prefer that, especially with what NXT is right now, we bring people like Leon Slater there. Let young talents, promises, who can take advantage of that opportunity go. And then, maybe the boss -not just Shawn Michaels, but also Triple H- says: 'Who the hell is this guy? Or this girl? Wow. Okay, let's push them and do something with them.' That's what I would prefer to see."

"We have an impressive roster of talent, guys and girls, some of whom I'm just getting to know, but others I'm following closely. It would be great for them. I don't think my presence in NXT helps TNA. But if it did, of course I would go, without hesitation," he concluded.
