Additionally, The Wyatt Sicks will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits. On the other hand, Aleister Black and Damian Priest will take their rivalry to a new level when they face off in a Last Man Standing Match. As always, we invite you to comment on the post to give your opinion on what happens on the show.
WWE SmackDown on Netflix begins!
The show starts with a promotional video for Crown Jewel, showing the transfer of the WWE Crown Jewel Championships from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Perth, Australia, under strict security measures.
We see the WWE Crown Jewel male championship inside a showcase in the center of the ring.
Cody Rhodes is the one to open the show. The fans welcome him with a great ovation and singing the theme "Kingdom." The Undisputed WWE Champion greets the front row audience as he heads into the ring. Cody continues to enjoy the warm welcome from the fans once inside the ring. "Cody, Cody Rhodes," chant the fans. "Well, Perth, what do you want to talk about?", Rhodes asks. Perhaps about Seth Rollins? The fans boo.
Rhodes points out that Seth has a pessimistic view of the future of this industry, but after hearing Paul Heyman explain what will be at stake at WWE Crown Jewel, he has realized how much Rollins needs to win this match, sacrificing whatever is necessary to end Rhodes' story. And that makes the WWE Crown Jewel Championship Seth's Achilles' heel. "And dismantling this vision now falls on my shoulders. How lucky I am", says Cody. However, he cannot blame Rollins for falling into this trap, as "The Visionary" loves WWE as much as the fans. However, Seth believes he is the only one who can keep it safe.
Cody reiterates that he feels like the quarterback of WWE, and it's something that makes him proud. However, when you think you can carry all the weight of the company, that's when your downfall truly begins, as your goal ends up being to amass power, completely moving away from your original goal. Rhodes points out that being considered the quarterback of WWE is just a label, because if the weight of WWE didn't fall on his shoulders, another superstar from the talented roster the company currently has could do it in his place. Cody cites some examples: Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, CM Punk, and of course, Seth Rollins... despite everything. The fans boo "The Visionary."
The fans start chanting, but Rhodes can't understand. That's why he asks Michael Cole to translate. Cody throws him the microphone. Cole doesn't dare, but Wade Barrett does, who doesn't hesitate to take the microphone. "Cody, they're saying: 'Seth Rollins is an asshole,'" says the Brit before returning the microphone to the Undisputed WWE Champion. "Thanks Barrett," chant the fans.
Rhodes takes the floor to make it clear that he can't just be a wrestler, but THE wrestler. The one who is always ready to fight. The one who will be buried with his wrestling gear. "I must be the one who on any night, in any era, under any circumstance, in your world and mine, Seth Rollins, you cannot defeat", says Rhodes before throwing the mic to the canvas. Cody raises the Undisputed WWE Championship as he celebrates with the fans to end the segment.
We see the arrival at the venue of some of the protagonists of this Australian night: Damian Priest and The Street Profits (with B-Fab).
We move backstage. Chelsea Green approaches Stephanie Vaquer to congratulate her on her title victory at Wrestlepalooza. Green knows perfectly well how she feels, as she was the first United States Champion. And as such, she can affirm that "The First" has what it takes to succeed. That's why she offers her a position in The Secret Hervice, assuring her that she has only thought of her - and not of Tiffany Stratton - for this job. Suddenly, the WWE Women's Champion appears on the scene. Nervous, Green doesn't take long to leave, but not before indicating to Vaquer that she will wait for her call. The Chilean gets rid of the job announcement that Chelsea has given her to focus on Tiffany. "Tonight I'll have your back. And I know you'll have mine. But I repeat: may the best woman win tomorrow", says Vaquer. "I'm glad we're on the same page," Tiffany replies. Stephanie leaves to end the segment.
Sami Zayn makes his entrance for his weekly open challenge for the United States Championship.
Cody Rhodes meets Jacob Fatu backstage. "The Samoan Werewolf" reminds "The American Nightmare" that he hasn't bothered him until now. "But after Crown Jewel, when you're done with Seth Rollins, you know what excites me", says Jacob as he stares at Cody's title. Rhodes approaches Fatu. "Good," says Rhodes before leaving. Nick Aldis appears on the scene. The SmackDown General Manager shakes hands with Jacob, pointing out that there's nothing he likes more than seeing talent rising levels. That said, he invites him to his office to talk about something. Aldis leaves. Suddenly. Drew McIntyre attacks Fatu from behind! The Scotsman throws Jacob against a column to start an assault. "What did you think was going to happen!?", exclaims Drew before looking for a metal box to crush his victim. However, Aldis steps in with several officials. "What's wrong with you!?" Nick shouts. "I have to end this piece of garbage", McIntyre replies. "I have to talk to you," he adds before leaving. Fatu rejects the help of the officials to stand up. And so we reach the end of this segment.

However, facing them is something completely different, it's not just another match. Alexa doesn't believe that Zaria and Ruca are ready for this. Zaria, on the other hand, is not willing to wait for her chance. And if the champions consider that they are not ready, maybe it's because they are afraid to face them. "Rude, bordering on disrespect, but brave. And I can respect bravery. It reminds me a bit of me," says Charlotte. Sol assures them that they respect both, but also reminds them that there was a time when someone gave them an opportunity. And that's what they also ask for: "An opportunity to prove ourselves against the best," says Ruca. Charlotte and Alexa accept their request.
