WWE has held a new weekly episode of Friday Night SmackDown, this time from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The show featured a series of matches and moments, highlighting the showdown between Damian Priest and Aleister Black under a Last Man Standing stipulation.
The rules of the match were clear: to win, the opponent must remain down on the mat for a referee's count of ten. However, putting that into practice can sometimes be more complicated, especially when you're in the ring with opponents of the caliber of Damian Priest and Aleister Black.
During the match, all kinds of objects were used, including metal ladders and kendo sticks. The level of aggression escalated in the final moments, as Damian Priest tried to secure victory on multiple occasions and had to resort to ringside. Black ended up on a table after receiving a Powerbomb, but he held his ground.
Both wrestlers went into the crowd area, where Damian Priest threw his rival onto a table. At that moment, unexpectedly, Zelina Vega made her appearance to plead with Priest to stop his offensive. Far from doing so, Priest shrugged off his suspenders, but Black surprised him with a burst of fire, followed by the Black Mass. Priest fell onto a table and the referee made the corresponding 10 count.
The rivalry between both wrestlers dates back to August, where Damian Priest defeated Aleister Black in a match held on SmackDown on August 1. Since then, they have stayed in touch. Last week, on SmackDown, Aleister Black lost to Sami Zayn in a match for the WWE United States Championship. After the match, Damian Priest attacked Black.
