WWE has ambitious plans for Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, which will take place on November 29th in San Diego, California. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company is preparing two WarGames matches filled with big names, featuring some of the most important superstars of the moment.
In the men's match, the team formed by CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Uso, along with a fifth member yet to be confirmed, with Jimmy Uso and LA Knight as main candidates, will face a group led by Seth Rollins, accompanied by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory. This lineup would mark Lesnar's return to action after Wrestlepalooza, as well as a possible temporary alliance between historic rivals.
On the other hand, the women's WarGames will feature a showdown between true legends and new generation stars. AJ Lee will officially return to the ring as part of a team with Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and IYO SKY, who will face off against Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. If confirmed, it would be one of the most prominent women's matches in the recent history of the event.
In addition to the WarGames, the show would include a title defense by Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship, facing the winner of the match between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu scheduled for the Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1st. Also scheduled is a John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship, making Survivor Series one of the most loaded events of the year.
