IYO SKY made history at WrestleMania 41 by retaining the Women's World Championship against all odds. Not only did she face two of the best female wrestlers from WWE, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, but "The Genius of Sky" also had to confront the curse of Japanese wrestlers at the grand event, ending it in a spectacular fashion.

"Apparently, I am the first Japanese woman to win at WrestleMania. And since it was also a defense of the most prestigious title in WWE, it was definitely the best moment of my life. Not only because of the result, but also for being alongside the best wrestlers, Bianca and Rhea. I was able to be on the best stage, with the best competitors, in the best match, and make the most of this historic moment," SKY said in an interview with The Japan Times.

During the interview, IYO was also asked about her fellow wrestlers. The Japanese wrestler praised the WWE women's division, naming some of the most prominent women in the industry today, including Stephanie Vaquer, whom she has faced on several occasions, highlighting their match at Wrestlepalooza for the Women's World Championship.

"Stephanie is an incredible wrestler, not only with skills in the South American style, but also with extensive experience wrestling in Japan. We had good chemistry, so it was fun to wrestle against her. In the WWE women's division, there are several wrestlers, like Bianca and Rhea, who I feel can help us improve every time we wrestle, and (Stephanie) is definitely one of them. I think we could do interesting things if we ever teamed up," IYO commented.

IYO SKY will be one of the main stars at WWE Crown Jewel, the event taking place tomorrow in the city of Perth, Australia. "The Genius of Sky" will join forces with Rhea Ripley to face The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) in what will be a new chapter in one of the main storylines of Monday Night Raw.
