Mercedes Moné conquered this afternoon the BODYSLAM Women's Championship at the most recent event held by the Danish promotion BODYSLAM in the city of Portalen, Greve. With this victory, "The CEO" now holds ten titles, equaling the legendary record of Último Dragon.
Moné's triumph is even more significant when we consider that "The CEO" put an end to Aliss Ink's solid reign of 1,140 days. And she did it with a clean victory after applying the Moné Maker on the Swedish wrestler, who just a month ago also lost the SLAM Women's Championship of the Finnish promotion.
Therefore, with tonight's win, Mercedes Moné now holds ten official titles, many of which were won in European territory. However, it should be noted that not all titles are defended. The Queen of Southside Title that Moné won from Mina Shirakawa was deactivated when it was unified with the RevPro Undisputed British Championship. Additionally, the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Championship is a trophy that does not count as an active title.
Below is the list of the ten championships currently held by "The CEO."
In just over a week, Moné will aim to add her eleventh championship when she travels to Canada to compete in the event Rumble in the Bert by Winnipeg Pro Wrestling, where she will face Jody Threat in a one-on-one match with the Women's Championship of the promotion on the line. The show will take place on Saturday, October 18 at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
