WWE held a new edition of Crown Jewel this morning, an event that took place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The show featured several interesting matches, highlighting the tag team match between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY against The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).
The Kabuki Warriors started with intensity, attacking their opponents as soon as the bell rang. However, Rhea Ripley quickly took control and leveled the playing field. Asuka and Kairi Sane managed to keep Ripley out of the action and gradually took control of the match, working together on IYO SKY. The dominance of the Kabuki Warriors lasted for a few minutes, until IYO SKY had enough and confronted Asuka. Eventually, she tagged in Rhea Ripley, who cleaned house. From this point on, the match became more intense, with the participants executing heavy-hitting maneuvers to secure the victory.
The Kabuki Warriors went after Ripley at ringside, but IYO SKY dove onto them. IYO performed the Moonsault on Kairi in the ring and went for the pin, but Asuka interrupted. The Kabuki Warriors didn't give up, and Kairi Sane hit her Insane Elbow on Ripley, although Sky arrived in time to save her partner.
Asuka and Kairi Sane were on the apron when Ripley approached to knock them out. Kane saved Asuka by pushing her, but he took the Big Boot from the Australian. Ripley hit the Riptide on Kairi Sane, tagged in IYO SKY, and the Japanese wrestler hit the Moonsault to secure the victory by a three count.
The rivalry between the two sides began a few weeks ago when Asuka started showing her displeasure because her compatriot, IYO SKY, was getting too close to Rhea Ripley. Kairi Sane didn't want to take sides, but Asuka "forced" her to do so. The anger escalated when Asuka decided to attack Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on Raw.
