TNA celebrated tonight its annual edition of Bound for Glory, an evening full of great moments that included the introduction of female wrestling legends into the Hall of Fame. In addition to incredible matches, highlighting the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match, where for the first time in history a tie was recorded and two superstars emerged victorious.
The chaotic match began with 20 participants, where the entrance of the brothers Nic and Ryan Nemeth generated an early alliance that allowed them to dominate. The action saw AJ Francis eliminate his own partner, Rich Swann, and two Knockouts. The youtuber BDE had a brief participation before being eliminated by Nic and finally, the veteran Eric Young starred in a brutal moment by delivering a low blow and a piledriver on the edge of the ring to Travis Williams, eliminating him from the match.
The match progressed with the surprising interference of Frankie Kazarian. Before his official turn, Kazarian knocked out Jody Threat and took his place without being seen by the referee. Later on, Santino Marella entered at number 18 only to be instantly eliminated by Nic Nemeth. The closing moments were defined between Matt Cardona and the Nemeth brothers, where a communication error led Nic to accidentally eliminate his own brother, Ryan.
When victory seemed certain for Nic Nemeth after getting rid of Cardona, the story took an unexpected turn. Frankie Kazarian, who was never officially eliminated, revealed himself as Nic's final opponent. They exchanged blows until a superplex resulted in a double pinfall. After the confusion, Santino Marella returned to declare Kazarian and Nemeth as joint winners of the Gauntlet Match, both earning a future title opportunity for the first time in the history of the match.
