Team 3D hand over their boots to The Hardys at TNA Bound for Glory 2025

TNA celebrated tonight its annual edition of Bound for Glory, an event that included great moments, including the introduction of female wrestling legends into the Hall of Fame. Additionally, one of the highlights was the match between two of the most legendary tag teams, The Hardys and Team 3D, where in the end Bully Ray and Devon had an emotional farewell by handing over their boots to their rivals.

The match, under the rules of a Tables Match, started chaotically, with Team 3D taking the lead. As soon as the bell rang, the Dudleys hit a surprise 3D on Matt Hardy, followed by another 3D on Jeff, breaking the first table and taking the lead. The Hardys fought to even the score, but Matt ended up going through a table on his own by dodging D-Von, a blow that didn't count as an elimination.

The action continued with the use of more ladders and tables. D-Von was the first victim of The Hardys, who placed him on a table for Jeff to execute a senton bomb from above, sealing his elimination. Bully Ray was left alone, and although he tried to resist, the Hardy duo proved to be too strong and finally, Jeff and Matt combined for a double uranagi that sent Bubba through the remaining table, securing the victory and the retention of the TNA and WWE NXT Tag Team Championships.

After the match, the rivalry gave way to an emotional tribute. With the crowd applauding them, Bully Ray and D-Von returned to the ring to embrace the champions. The Dudleys left their boots in the center of the ring and handed them to The Hardys, symbolizing their definitive farewell from professional wrestling. As Team 3D walked away amidst applause, the Hardys raised the titles in honor of their lifelong rivals.
