TNA celebrated tonight its annual edition of Bound for Glory, an evening that included great moments, such as the introduction of several legends of women's wrestling into the Hall of Fame. In addition, the main event saw a new TNA World Champion crowned; Mike Santana managed to dethrone Trick Williams and bring the title back to the company.

The main event started chaotically, with the action spilling out of the ring, even into the stands. Williams attacked Santana with the title before the match was formalized in the ring. The NXT champion dominated much of the match, hitting a Trick Kick, a death valley driver, and several neckbreakers, but Santana demonstrated his resilience by staying in the fight, despite ending up bleeding after receiving a strong beating at ringside.

The contest continued with Williams confronting Santana's daughter, receiving a slap that fired up the challenger. Santana responded with a dive from the stands and, back in the ring, hit a powerbomb and a 450 splash that came very close to a three-count. Despite the distractions from Williams' lawyer and the intense exchanges of blows, Santana dodged an attack from Trick with the championship belt and countered with a decisive flying lariat.

Finally, Santana executed his ultimate finishing move, Spin the Block, securing the three-count and becoming the new TNA World Champion, celebrating with his daughter. However, the celebration was immediately interrupted: Nic Nemeth appeared to try to cash in his newly earned title shot, but was intercepted by Elijah, who took him out with a guitar shot. Frankie Kazarian also tried to capitalize on the situation, but was taken down by Santana, disposing of his future rivals and thus sealing the return of the championship to the company.
