TNA Wrestling has officially announced the return of Genesis, one of its most emblematic events, which will kick off the company's 2026 season. The announcement was made during the broadcast of Bound for Glory, where it was confirmed that the show will take place in Dallas, Texas next January.
At the moment, the company has not revealed the exact date or venue for the event. However, considering last year's edition, everything points to the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland possibly being the location for the show once again.
The first Genesis took place in November 2005 and remained in that month for two more years before permanently moving to January starting in 2009. The upcoming edition will be the eleventh in the history of the event since TNA revived the name this year after a four-season hiatus.
With this move, it seems that the Hard to Kill brand -traditionally associated with January PPVs- will be set aside for a while, thus solidifying the return of Genesis as the company's first major show of the year.
Before closing out 2025, TNA still has two dates marked on its calendar: Turning Point, which will take place on November 13 at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, and Final Resolution, scheduled for December 5 at the Coliseum in El Paso, Texas.
